Or you've just dished it off centre..... Did you build the rim so it lines up between the hub flanges? If so that's where you've gone wrong. Looks like you just need to tighten the non-drive side spokes until it sits central.

Now you've thinned out the grease take the bike for a ride around for a few hours before you use it for trials. Tarty should really make a video or a short text about how to bed in these greased freewheels. Must + no instructions is a combination that has kept me off buying one. I won't rely on any information on the forum here, only on instructions given by those who will decide on my warranty claim. Got to agree really, seems a littel off demanding that a product has to go through a certain process before it is to be used for it's intended purpose and then not explaining how you should do this. I appreciate to some that bedding in a freewheel might be an obvious thing to do and they will know how to do it, but i'm sure that to a lot people, it's not obvious and they aren't sure what it entails. Can't do any harm to Tarty really.

Ti, steel or carbon, but not Alu.It just won't last. To Echo Lite 09, Alu will fail a lot faster than any of the other materials i've mentioned purely down to the material properties and how it work hardens/ fatigue life. It's just not a suitable material for something that is designed to flex in the way that this frame is. Does take the whole comp bikes are like pogo sticks to a whole new level though....

The white ones were about as solid as frames got! The original silver and black ones were a little crack happy though.

Get a decent magnet then? Also helps to spot any filler/ FG repairs.

The ones Andrei Burton was running had an aluminium steerer, as far as i remember the geo is more inline with TryAll/Rockmand forks i.e. slightly short axle to crown and rake then the current trialtech forks.

My try-alls have lasted 2.5 years and got knocked and scratched up. I'm only now considering changing them as they're looking tatty.

RockNRoll bikes are no longer Onza, they were bought by Moore Large. Mike Poyzer still owns the tensile brand though. You'll have no issues getting something from RockNRoll, just give them a quick call or keep emailing them.

If that's the cranks, bb and freewheel its actually not that bad. I think i read that they're supposed to be stronger, stiffer and lighter than normal tryalls with a Ti bb and freewheel. Which when you consider cranks are £100, Ti bb is £120 ish, a decent freewheel is £60, plus alloy crank bolts etc. It's not actually that bad, especially if it a much stiffer, stronger and slightly lighter set-up. Everything new starts offa little more expensive, look at the new Echo SL cranks! Really it all depends on the freewheel and it's reliability....

Come on Sam, Sam Acton isn't the lightest or smoothest rider and certainly likes to push it. I think he'd kill anything!

Genuine cousts (please no one argue that they are the same, as I've bought both and they don't even look the same; let alone perform the same)are made in the same way. Been running them for the last 3 years front and rear and never had any issues.
