  1. Really?! It's a bloody long way just to ride Exeter! Maybe about.
  2. Was going to say they look similar to the TryAll forks i'm running with the steel steerer. I've always felt a little bit more comfortable knowing the steerer is steel and solid! Riding was good, enjoyed it.
  3. I wouldn't say it's "waaaay" too short. It's 10mm shorter reach than a Koxx Sky 2 and 15mm shorter than a Slate XL. Who is to say they aren't waaaaay too long? Guess the proof will be in the actual riding.
  4. Using SUM suggests the addition of results or values from various cells to gain a total. You aren't adding anything together as you don't require a total.
  5. Your frenchies are the sexiest thing ever! The trials move that is...
  6. Rockman rims were just rebranded try all rims. So there shouldn't be any reason at all. Unless it was a crap wheel build, you've turned into a basher or you are just unlucky.
  7. It's not cheap that's for sure. Think you'll need the HD axle, fun bolts and the collar.

    Dh Bike

So many choices on Pinkbike its silly, take your pick! clicky
  9. Out of all the rear tyres I've run I've been most impressed with my TryAll Sticky Lite. The grip it offers is way above anything else, it seems to be wearing pretty well, it's fairly light and I've not got a pinch flat in the 6 months I've been running it (20 ish PSI). If you can afford it and are happy to spend the money then I don't think anything else comes close.
  10. Apart from the graphics I like it. Not sure if I like it as much as the last proto Joe was riding. Both the new frames look like they're a step in the right direction; up to date geometry and competitive price. Be interesting to see them in the flesh. What was decided with the frame the Andrei was riding before he left? I know the geometry wasn't bang up to date, but it seemed a really nice looking, light and reasonably strong frame.
  11. Because you don't get any BMX dirt jumpers do you... I can promise you Dani could pick up any trials bike and ride it better than you and 90% of all trials riders. I don't know if you've started this argument because you're one of those small minded little children that gets a hard on over causing a fuss on an internet forum, but you're coming across as ignorant and naive and altogether a bit of a twat. So congratulations if that was your objective, but your arguments are based on nothing but your misinformed and misguided opinion. I'm not saying don't voice your opinion, but try and have some solid basis to it so you can back it up. I wouldn't say riding a mod is easier, it's just different.
  12. Sounds about right. If you just want to do an oil and seal change should be about 40 quid to do it yourself. Well it did to do my fox floats, but that required me buying two bottles of different weight fork oils so I've got those for future jobs. Plenty of easy how to vids to follow to make life simpler.
  13. Good looking frames them and seemed to have some positive reviews too. It is tapered but that wont affect what fork you're after if you're looking at a triple clamp fork. Which I imagine you are? The last few years have seen a bit of a resurgence with Marzocchi forks, they've got their legendary fit and forget reliability back. Still heavier than everyone else's forks. If you're looking 2nd hand i'd stay away from pre 2010 Marzocchi kit for reliability reasons. Boxxers have a more frequent service schedule but oil and seal changes are all self serviceable so that shouldn't put you off, it's only a half hour job. If you're buying second hand find out when they were last sent off for a full service as forks tend to get neglected as a service can be expensive and generally gets put off. Slightly worn bushings will cause a lot more damage and expenditure if they wear the stanchions than a service will ever cost and the fresh out the box feeling once you get them back from somewhere like TF Tuning is always nice. Get on southerndownhill and see what others are riding and rating.
  14. Got to agree with max some like a set of 2nd hand boxxer races or teams. Check pinkbike, fleabay and southerndownhill. Should be able to pick up something good.
  15. My thoughts exactly! Size of wheels isn't an indication of skill level!
  16. Looks good, almost as good as your taste in sniper rifles... mmmmmm Accuracy international Arctic Warfare
  17. Really sorry didn't mean to "jack" the thread I've got a number 3 caliper (180 on an IS mount?) and got hope to make me a 175mm rotor in the mono trial pattern. So no adapters or anything.
  18. Riding and edit was really really good, just looked a whole lot of fun. Would love to see it in all it's glory without Sony Vegas raping it of it's quality. Hope the shoulder heals up and you can make another soon!
  19. It might be the fact I've got Koxx forks with a 155mm mount so cant face it with a hope tool. I'll give it all a fresh bleed and re-set it up to see if things improve. I am with Ali though Hope brakes are temperamental.
  20. I've had my Hope pro pads for a a month now and i haven't been overly impressed with them. I haven't really noticed much if any difference between them and the original pads. Nothing mind blowing that's for sure.... might be doing something wrong but don't think i am.
  21. That was damn fine. Some sweet lines and some ballsy moves. Nicely done indeeds Sir.
  22. company called BETD frame repairs can do an insert for it but its not cheap. £60.
  23. Shame I'm in Plymouth. Didn't know you were riding again mate. Good to see you're about and ok. Have a good one.
  24. Looks really really tidy Dan. Defo move the seat a tad back but apart from that its just so pretty!
  25. So so nice, wish I could afford one!
