  1. good stuff you really suit that monty
  2. Can't advise on compression because I also use Movie Maker, but ff that phone is WM5 based, get TCPMP. It's a great media player for PDAs. Linky (it's down at the moment, try later). I used other programs for compressing in the past but they were slow and inefficient. Just stick to MM or if you want a really good compressor, download Premiere Pro and use the Adobe Media Encoder. You could also try DivX Create, it's got a setting for mobile devices but to play it you will need the program above.

    What's the music?
  4. Don't helicoil it, tap the mounts to M8 and screw in an M8->M5 steel insert (or whatever they're called). It's a great thing, you'll never need to worry about stripping the threads again. You might want to ask Biff about this, I know he had it done to his Python.
  5. Loved it. The vid had a slow pace to it, music was good and the riding seemed very controlled and smooth.
  6. Really nice bike, loving the black wheels and yellow stickers
  7. yeah it's him, he probably wants people to receive these pads by the 1st
  8. I think they're 7075 alu, that's what I asked for but it's apparently hard to get so it could well be PA6 which was my 2nd choice. It is a tight fit, I had to put them on a lathe at home to get them exactly right. Then it was just a WD40 + hammer job.
  9. Eric Prydz Kinda ok in the short run but more than 5 seconds of his music start making me nervous.
  10. I've used it a couple of times, it belongs to the EMS service which seems to be particularly bad in the UK. Anything sent to me by that service from the UK took ages and couldn't be tracked. You need to have an account with them to use the Euro48 service which is the only quick and reliable one. One frame that was sent to me through Parcel Force took 9 business days to leave a hub in Birmingham (that's almost 2 weeks). If you want the buyer to be happy with your service, use another company and do make sure you pack the frame very well. Online tracking is most important - if the parcel is held up at least you know where it is.
  11. ...who does things effortlessly and in a smooth manner and concentrates on getting up things as opposed to only doing drop gaps. For me such a rider is Mr Grosenik.
  12. christ! that's some HUGE progress since your last video which was about a week ago?
  13. april fools day is in 3 days JT pretty sure these pads are made of cheese or butter?
  14. wow!! that is officially perfect! bet it rides well

    Ben G?

Me too although I turned it into a claim straight after discovering I can't contact him. He doesn't seem to be on MSN either or has just blocked me. I don't think there's any point in waiting, he seems to visit this forum every day so it's not that he can't access the internet or something.
  16. Me too, wanted to get Vista but too many things would stop working. It'll probably be safe to change in about a years time.

    Ben G?

still no sign of the stem claiming the money back through paypal now, by the looks of things there should be no problems with getting it back this guy is amazing, he's switched off his pm's so it's now impossible to contact him oh well, i guess i don't need to anyway
  18. can't be good for the sport then ? when a monty rider snaps his frame, 5 xtps brake instantly making lots of riders unhappy so my conclusion is that it's not the xtp's that are weak, but montys because they cause xtps to snap EDIT: just realized i'm responsible for 10 broken xtps got to speak to a priest NOW

Could we know who the rider is? Just want to know if it's worth the wait.
  21. Good find. Unfortunately this list is very old so I doubt it'll be useful for the average rider but some might want to see how the geometry, weight and materials have changed throughout the past few years. Quite interesting.
  22. You need to dismantle the brake, take the piston out and polish it inside so it has no scratches. Then replace the seals on the piston.
  23. Fine, just don't see any connection between what he wrote and my post.
  24. How many riders ride 18T front sprockets as opposed to 22/16T? Had middleburns, they were extremely heavy and only took a 22T chainring. Can't see a company justifying a 250g bashing when I've had a Tensile one that weighs probably no more than 60g for well over a year and it's still perfect. Who needs the extra durability? Not practical at all. Now that HS has introduced a 18T bash and chainring for MB cranks, they might become more popular.
