  2. which year zoot did you have? the original zoots shipped with the tensile sixty clicks and they are great
  3. browsing ebay and found these very economically priced carbon forks in 20" theyre suitable for bmx apparently so maybe they could handle some trials love too?

    The Angry Thread.

one hell of a day; a postie put the wrong fuel in a van so I went over with a new van so he could get back on with his delivery; I sat tight with the mis-fueled vehicle waiting for the rac. the rac man did his stuff and I swung back around the petrol station and into a pump to top up the van. as I get out an old woman fell down the step into the petrol station (i'm parked next to the entrance) the rac guy comes over as I get out and then we hear this woman. she'd fallen and dislocated her ankle the main shin bone was loose from her f**king foot and her foots flapping about and her shin is bleeding! I called an ambulance and the rac guy starts talking to this woman keeping her warm and shit because my van is shielding everyones view and blocking people from driving near her and all that shit I had to stay right through till she's ambulanced off and they've cleared everything down. which was fine cause it was the right thing to do; but nno one needs all that going on... when I got back to the office I came straight into a complaint about a missing packet from a woman who came in at precisely 7 am the same day to complain about it; i'd had 0 chance to do anything about it at that point because of the fuel shenanigans and I had to take a full on earful from this woman who was oblivious to my earlier good guy antics. cannot win. and my foot hurts.
  6. clearly a slow day in the office today could i dismantle and get re-anodized (in purple obviously) racingline slaves? or would i end up having leaky drama and sadness? and the levers for that matter? i've got the new style one with the hinged clamp and i imagine the locking pin is a bugger to get out but would i be alright doing it?

    The Angry Thread.

not really angry about this but the new hope AM stems look f**king hideous compared to the older ones. harumph.
  9. you really want a pro2 on it; and then you can go 16-12 for super tiny drivetrain gains

    onza?

theres probably alot more money in mtb to be fair. does this mean no more pro diamond rims

    onza?

are onza still in the trials game? they have released some new mountain bikes but theres no mention of their trials stuff on their site anymore; rocknroll bikes website doesn't really work. is this the end of an era?
  12. i have some time off work coming up, i know i posted a thread like this before but tf is so stale it doesn't hurt to make a new one i'm a dirty tgs slut but i can play nicely with street boys. anyone fancy coming over to kingston? if not who am i best pestering in london? tf and human names please actually just a list of good places to go would be useful now the weathers nice i'm getting the itch to ride new stuff.
  13. ti bolts are probably the least cost efficient way to save weight; whats your current bike and spec? lighter tyres/wheels/forks will make your bike feel alot lighter, so will rim brakes over disc brakes.... alloy bolts are usually lighter than ti, but not as strong.
  14. i loved my zoot, i also snapped it on the stays. was a super fun bike!
  15. superstar components pedals are great! 2 year guarantee and relatively cheap to boot. i've had two sets; some regular alloy nano ones that had 2-3 years of trials love before being put onto a commuter bike. i'm a size 12-13 and they fit my feet comfortably. i also had their magnesium lightweight jobbbies they lasted just past two years before snapping which was pretty damn good for silly lightweight pedals under my 100kg of heft
  16. i fixed my stock this month and it's let me 'beat' some parts of a local spot that i could't get my head around on the 20". i went out for a little blast on the mod last night and i matched every big line i made on the stock. only one thing left that need to do on the mod left. stock doesnt handle quite as whimsically as my 20" does yet but i'll get there with it.

    BB7 pads

both are great! got the jitsies in my bb7 on the back and it's mega although a well set up bb could probably work on pad backings
  19. no we usually run about half resistance; the machines in our club are very well loved so they're quite 'resistive' anyway. heres an interesting article about the resistance dial if you wanna learn about it i think i'd be hospitalized if i pulled a 17.40 on full crack . in other happy news; i started an office job in september and despite basically quitting road bikes which made up most of my life the summer before i started i haven't put on heaps of weight or lost much fitness due (mostly cause of rowing). i'm really weird about my body weight and size so i'm quite happy at how i've been adulting with all things considered. i've improved my diet significantly too
  20. beasted my 5k test last night; i went in blind on last weeks but i had a game plan last night and brought it down to 17.40 still plenty of room to improve as well.
  21. no the relationship is direct; if you develop more strength and mass and don't do any stretches you would become less flexible that someone who doesn't lift and doesn't stretch (or this is roughly the deal my coach explained to me)
  22. They have a direct correlation. i have overtrained my leg strength for years; i took up rowing in october 2015 and i've spent the last 4 months undoing alot of the 'damage' that over training strength has done. you need to be stretching the ever loving shit out of your hamstrings... i think it's why i've struggled with the siddles the same as you.
