Sorry to hear that. Have you tried all medical avenues or waiting on anything else? I went private recently and financed the cost, so I recommend that if it's an option at all.
-
Does that mean you're not riding, or just isolated from the groups? They decided they weren't interested in playing ball with the UK government's law. I can't remember what it was called, but it's been in the running since the Conservatives, and Labour pushed it through. Online Safety Bill, or something. So any forum hosting pictures, all gone. I read a post on reddit not long ago along the lines of, "what gets put on the internet stays on the internet, and look how wrong we were". Google clearing old cache, Internet Archive struggling to keep some items online, who'd a thought?! Anyways, thanks for the updates. Nice to see familiar names pop up. I guess the death of the desktop computer helped kill forums too, with phones requiring far too much effort to cross post, link, embed, etc. The ability to post clips instead of videos did help devalue the content, so a partial reason why I lost interest I think as well. I did have a few goes on some modern mods not long back, but those short rear ends just kill it for me, I can't even ride a short rear on the bmx without going all over the place.

I'm pretty sure it was 1025mm / 375mm rear / 25mm bb / 72* HA. That's the one I rode and favoured over any other Inspired geo. Truly a steal at that price. Enjoy!

Hello new and old, mostly old, and some of those are f**king old, are there even new users here? What happened trials? Can I have the last 10yrs squished into a paragraph or two? I was on the look out to buy a new mod or a 2nd hand one last year or two, but never could find anything. How many brands are left, or is no one just bringing anything in to the country? I did ride my Triton last year a few times, and I rode a modest bit of trials around those covid times, but no furlough for me. I have been riding more in the past few years than other times, but it's mostly been solo. Life got more overwhelming as each year went on so I disconnected from everyone, so apologies if I've just kinda avoided anyone on here. Did the IMGUR issue affect the TF locals? It's a sad state of affairs and has affected many forums. I generally don't social media anything and haven't for years, but I do miss that era and sense of community. FB has always been shit for me, and yet there seems to be some community there, though I haven't followed it.

Gave it watch, nicely executed all those spots

Mate, open the FB group. Same for the Bristol one. The links don't work as i think it might set as private

Woah, TF is looking weird and new. I'm not surprised he rinsed all over the 24" club with that starter, it's also why i started feeling hatey/ salty/ negative (choose your own word) towards the scene. Least we have Ali, Mark, Ben T, Ross, Ben R when he's around, Leon, and the 26"/20" dudes still doing their own thing. On YT got a reply from someone who said Dave Sellero is still riding but no videos, he was pretty lethal too. Left my thoughts on YT with James- superb video for sure.

Props to sticking with the brakeless, think you're one of the last to keep doing it (out of the people i know ofc) Loved the endo spin to gap Prefer your old style of music though! It had zing. Whatever that means
-
Pretty nuts! Should of tripoded that camera though!
-
Thumbs up for sure That's the riding scene to be jealous of. The middle east and asian riders have videos on youtube too. They do some (not trials) awesome stuff, on beaten bikes. Admittedly the music is horrendous (as is most in videos nowadays ), but they do some wacky cool stuff.

Another life is busy excuse here. But 4 weeks to go. Shouldn't be too hard to accomplish something
-
Great to see him smiling just cruising along! The feeling of just being free while rolling along is something that you would miss a lot. I hope he can stay focused on that and not be drawn into wanting more too soon. His progress is really good though, and i'm sure that is a big influence to many which is a very good thing. Well done Martyn!!

Don't recall, but don't recall much from that era apart from the obvious street names. Had a little gander at his videos, possibly seem familiar, beasty ass sidehops
-
Obvious differences in their riding, Flip would demolish James at trials, but tricks, visa versa. Mr Rawlings showed me this one of him. 180 no hands was sick, but yet last line was meh https://vimeo.com/26891914
-
Rang James earlier, he's committed on going too. Is Mark making an appearance?
-
Not into random foot plants, but other than that pure awesome. Static to crankslide Flip was styled real nice and aggressively too.

Wondering what the main day is, Sunday i presuming?

That skinny wall to gap over mini road was awesome!

Really good watch, looked like a great trip!

Agree with what everyone else has said, top dog shit. -
I think i could very well be on this. Seeing as i cracked out my trials bike recently and just did a curb vid on my bmx, so i'm fully practiced in the art of curbs now.
-
I should be able to make this.
-
I remember watching that vid for the first time in something like 06/07/08 and being like wtf, 2003?! Standard was insane for that generation Dave!

I wouldn't be surprised if most people were to pick their older videos. It's generally a case of being younger had no/ less stress, no pressure, more enjoyment, more learning, more friends, no injuries, most people were generally better skilled as they were riding more, and it goes on. I know i feel as riding was a lot better to me 10 years ago, i was wearing less protection and i felt i was still in the game. Bloody kids Don't recall seeing that one of you before Flipp! Weird seeing brakes. Good choice Leon, that one i've not seen before and favour that over your newer ones. Really dialled back then by the looks of things. How old are you now?

Really enjoyable edit, top work from both of you. Loadsa cool lines, last one killer, or possibly not killer, depending on how you look at it I hasn't noticed it with previous videos so probably to do with the fact it was lots of lines in a short amount of time, some lines seemed opted for flow over control? Though that's probably my perception and preference so it doesn't really matter.
