You can do that, yeah - ideally you'd need to pick a fairly thin bashring though just to make sure you get a good amount of thread contact between your BB and frame.

When I do the 180 version I kind of deliberately stall it at around the 90 mark then push the front end in to get the bonk and rest of the spin. Is it kind of similar with the 3 version of it or do you just glance it? Glad to hear there's a potential return of the brakes though. Although I really like your riding without brakes, some of the potential moves/lines you had in that Shaka Brah video were rad. The 270 tyre tap barspin right at the start was the shit, I need more of that in my life...

Inspired Console Video - Ben Travis & Leftovers Video added

Hopefully Ben and I are going to get a chance to film an edit together some time this year Been wanting to make it happen for some time now! -
Did you lube up the new piston before fitting it? They seem pretty temperamental if you don't grease the piston up. Also, have you checked out whether there are any minor leaks from the bleed screw at the cylinder? I had to bleed up a Racing Line brake 2 weeks ago and it was pretty much non-stop hassle in terms of it gushing fluid out from the cylinder bleed port and seemingly generating air out of nowhere.

Unfortunately the people who buy good stuff are outnumbered by people who buy shit stuff. Hoarders gonn' hoard.

I had the forerunner to the Freed (the old Atomz Premier) and that was a super nice frame. The geo's a little different obviously but I think you'd get on OK with it - the Premier had a lower BB and slacker head angle so in terms of how long the front end felt I'd imagine it'd be fairly comparable to the latest Freed. I'm 6'1" and the reach felt fine to me on my old bike, and that was just with a 120x25 stem and regular TT Sport bars on there.

Game changer. Nice one dude!

You mentioning Ash and his girlfriend just suddenly reminded me of a fairly interesting night in Coventry on the 24:2011 trip, with someone bursting into Ash's room to cheer him on while he was banging her. That night was really weird.

Protip: Put http://sfrom.net/before the URL of any of G's videos (e.g. http://sfrom.net/www.vimeo.com/123456), save that shit then give no f**ks when this happens again.

I thought he looked a lot like Wesley Snipes until I Googled Wesley Snipes to check. #unintentionalracism

Good shit Kudos for making throwing the bars look that easy when we all know it isn't. Out of interest, are your bars cut down at all or are they full width? Are you tempted to put brakes back on at all or are you planning on staying brakeless for the bigger video you've got planned? Also, nice one on the 360 nose bonk thing on the pole too. I've been meaning to learn them for ages but I'm struggling to get my head around them. Maybe I need to just go have a car park session some time soon...

This frame is a prototype that Ali and I (and Sean I think?) have been riding for a while now. There was talk of that clamp going on the new Arcade frames (the red ones), but they opted for the simpler integrated version from the V1 frame instead. I quite like it though - nice and neat It did spawn the sweet seat stay bridge that features on the new frames though so it's been worth it

Speaking of - the band were really cool about the song being used for the video. General shout-out/high fives to the Vagabond Poets for that.

Indeed They've been on there for a while now as it happens, really having enjoying having them. I haven't even considered going brakeless again since I put them on so I think it's the right time. Only thing I'd really change about them is possibly the front caliper - it's an E4 caliper and I'm not overly keen on it.

After having the same wheelset for the past few years, my bike's been jazzed up a bit with some fancy new bits from Hope and Spank. Finally getting to live out my Steven Hamilton chrome-look wheels dreams... Thanks to Drop & Roll for the hook-up too

That video was really cool Dave - looking back at old school footage like that the bikes can occasionally look like absolute shit to ride, but you made that look really good As Eskimo mentioned too, super high level of riding considering the time!

French National Champion Marion Porcher (22 years-old) - Bad Crash
Mark W replied to Paperclip's topic in Trials Chat
Danny Butler mentioned some kind of vertebrae damage on FB, but haven't really seen anything else referring to that, just that she had "serious injuries". Bad news either way. -
TartyBikes quote the same percentage power increase over the official Magura 2-finger blade as the official Magura 4-finger blade, so I'd assume that means the TT blade is about the same length as the Magura one.

22:16 with 170mm cranks I'm not really too sure what's happened with that write-up - I sent the copy to Duncan who I assume sent it to Pinkbike, so I don't really get at what point Ali became Scottish and started riding 'street trails', as well as every bit of sentence structure getting raped. Cheers for the heads up though. Thanks for all the comments from everyone too, glad people are into it

Seem to remember someone posting about it being nicer for "to front" moves, plus saving a bit of weight. It'd totally f**k with my setup OCD though...

My front brake is crappy - loads of bite not as much hold
Mark W replied to Greetings's topic in Trials Chat
They pretty much all work the same. Stone cutting seem reasonable. The important thing is to not go over the same bit repeatedly as you lose the sharpness of the grind. -
Thanks Karl Nah - on the first day we went from our apartment down to the white wall spot in the park where he does the manual to gap to bench, then went down to the red bank stoppie spot. While we were there one of the callouses ripped off Ali's hands due to his new grips, and then it became a kind of deep-seated blister/cut kinda thing which meant Ali couldn't really pull up all that hard. Most days generally started with a load of superglue and plasters after that.

<excuse>He did manage to slightly injure himself on day 1 of this trip courtesy of some new, untried grips, but still got a fair bit done...</excuse>

Back in January I headed over to Barcelona with Ali C to film a new video for Drop and Roll, and here it is: Thanks to all the guys at Drop and Roll for the help with the trip
