I want to eat all of them. Without the metal bit, obviously. They just look like they should be tasty.
Your right there. just as well they are not scented with a sweet of strawberry, pineapple, blackcurrent, lime, and lemon. Edited by Rusevelt

The finish of the backing is, ultimately, unrelated to braking performance. Nice to see sexy anodizing, but largely a vanity issue.

Softness of pad material is not a good indicator of wear life.

What does concern me is the type of mounting. It looks like a rubber grommet just inside. While seemingly a simple and practical way of dealing with mounting....... we found (Plazmatic CR pads, circa '99) that the stresses put on the slave nipple when pads were not adjusted to be close to the rim were........well, negetive in effect...........broke the nipples. And I hate it when my nipples are broken.

Sorry i just had to laugh at that lol!

to be honest the backings look a little on the thin side which could mean that the material might not be that secure. the colours are great though and they look alright i guess!

For around 20quid you'd expect top quality finish, tested, decent wear life and to be honest i can't see them fulfilling those specifications and if the compounds are as soft as people have pointed out your gonna be pissed when the expensive pads you've just bought wear out quicker than it takes a teenage fat kid to discover his love for porn

edit- thought i should add the actual material looks good and if it wears at a decent rate i'd consider buying just the material and but them into better backings plus you have to name them after the fact they look like sweets

Because every time a new HEN product comes out I only ever seem to have negative comments. For this one it's basically poor finish and limited recess for the pad to sit in. Heatsink ftw in my opinion...

ah rite, i get you......i pretty much share the opinion about these though

thats as funny as the del advert that tries to sell laptops purely on colour ....

i know.....with *free* choice of colour....

thankyou, oh gracious dell, ill pay over the odds for your inspiron for it to have some shiny acrylic casing :P

Yes for the past 3 months in russia!

Must resist 'pads test you' remark >_<

They don't look too bad, the backings don't look particularly well done though.

The soft compound ones sound good, any news if they'd be availible for us vee users?
