The government has all that money sitting there burning a hole in their pocket and they go spend it on roads and other things and by the time the older or disabled people get there money, it's not enough to live on. How do the people get in the places where they get paid tons of money to do nothing. Look at their history you'll see that they have done plenty of hard work and made many sacrifices to get where they are. The people in CEO's didn't just get given that job, they have worked their whole life for that position. Your right, teachers should get paid more, but they are paid by the government once again who has to conjure up money out of nowhere.There is no doubt that CEO's are overpaid. It's one of the biggest ethical problems that America faces today. Ken Lay, former CEO of Enron, was being paid over $120 million a year. He did this by making the company's revenue overstated, making share prices increase, and his CEO bonus structure was based on the value of shares. There is nothing to do with what the 'party' believes in or what they're going to do for the country and all about spending the most money in a pathetic popularity contest.
