What Gigs Are You Going To?

The title says it all really, have any of you got any gigs lined up for 2005?

Been to any already, or any you bands you really want to see?

So far I've managed to get tickets to see:

Feeder - Brixton Academy

Oasis - Milton Keynes Bowl

Weezer - Brixton Academy (Tickets aren't even on sale to the public yet!)

Bloc Party - Brixton Academy (again)

If Franz Ferdinand do anything then I might go and see them too. As for the other gigs, I'm really looking forward to them, I can't remember the last band I saw!

So, got anything lined up?

Don't use this thread as an excuse to have a go at other people's music tastes or I'll close it :(

This very month! 2 gigs! woo!

On the 16th March im seeing The Mars Volta live. These are my most favouritist band ever!!! Looking forward to seeing them perform their new album live :( Amazing band meant to be amazing live, really cant wait. Ive watched them grow from small and obscure to getting bigger and headlining big venues (while still being obscure :S)

On the 23rd march im seeing Jimmy Eat World. Second favourite band and the songs hold such great memories between me and my girlfriend who im going with! Going to be an awesome gig I can tell, I know every single one of their songs.

I am probably going to see Electric 6 play at The Salisbury City Hall on Saturday night, should be a laugh if I do decide to go :S

I really should get to more gigs, Im loving the list Matt [boon] has compiled! Matt, Jesse James are not that bad live, when I saw them play the sound levels were amazing and they actually played really well. Their songs are very cheesey though, come on one song is called Shoes and another one is called My Favourite Shirt :(

Feeder - Brixton Academy

Weezer -  Brixton Academy (Tickets aren't even on sale to the public yet!)

Bloc Party - Brixton Academy (again)

Most jealous of those, i saw feeder a few years ago and they were great, saw weezer at brixton a while back as well, one of the best live bands ever i think.

Jimmy Eat World

One of if not my favourite band ever, totaly amazing live!

I'm gonna see Hanson on the 27th, I'll await the barrage of mm bop jokes but i don't care. Saw them on their acoustic tour in november and they were amazing, i went in slating them and came out most impressed. T'is their electric tour this time, should be even cooler, especially as i'm going with most of my housemates from uni as well as my g/f :( should be a nice drunken evening :S lol

Also going to see Greenday in June at the mk bowl, which is gonna be amazing!
