Didn't ride much, but the going's on when it started to rain was funny. :unsure: I caught James staring at my breast, and no James, water still isn't fizzy if you shake it up loads. :P Was nice to see y'all again. If only i had a better journey (4 hours via Guildford and Havant instead of 2 hours straight from Reading to Worthing because train drivers are cocks ) i would probably feel a lot better about the whole day. Was still fun though, and some crazy shit going down as usual. Prawny Baby Posted June 3, 2005 Report Share Posted June 3, 2005 bigman and i have JUST got home! twas a savage journey, with the good old ford deciding to do its best to overheat, resulting in a 4hour journey with the heater on full, and some rather toasty feet!!!! couple that with every possible form of traffic slwoing this morning, crashed lorry, crashed caravan, road works, m4 contraflow!!!! and u have almost 500miles of very slow driving :) ah well. travelling aside, it was an AWESOME day! twas mental to see everyone again, and its good to see the rain didnt stop us riding for long! twas great to see Sue, Charlie, and Em again, thanks for everything you guys did to organise the event!! and be happy Em :) everyone here loves u! I have only just got in! :) I dont know how far I have driven today, I have a feeling I have only covered about 250 miles so you deffinately beat me in distance travelled! :unsure: I am tired but am fueled by Redbull so am gonna struggle to get to sleep... The course was excellent with stuff for everyone ( i nearly backwheeled that single pallet :unsure:) Nick manning throwing down some crazy shizzle on the skip dan ko beating fletch on sidehops :) Everyone for riding in the pouring rain (my cheapo Vee brake decided to work like a charm :) ) MAHUSIVE thanks to charlie who gave me a lift into town to get a new brake (you the man charlie) The guy who done the hog roast, that was some tasty pig :unsure: Thanks to everyone for making it a kick ass day (even if i had a 3 and a bit hour journey each way) Ben Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mark W Posted June 4, 2005 Report Share Posted June 4, 2005 That was a freaking awesome day :D I was going to make a post when I got home (about the same time as Danny & Tomm), but I had to make my bed before I went to bed, and I had to get up at 9-ish this morning to go to work :o Anyway, riding was awesome. Everyone got on super well, everyone just had a laugh. Met loads of people from here who I knew online but didn't actually know in person. Prawn and Bigman rule :D Even if everyone did have a go at me for being "disappointed" I didn't have a proper Welsh accent :P I'm kinda pissed now I waited for so long to start riding. Just wondered about not really doing much for the first 2 hours, started riding, then it pissed it down. Huddled for a while under the thing then started riding, and it was all good, even in the wet. Got me an FBM T and band too, so glad I could help out in some way :( Thanks again to Sue and Charlie for everything, Em too, and basically everyone who helped setup and organise the day, everyone who attended, and Jon for giving me a lift down and back :P It's all much appreciated. Mark P.S. I was the guy on an Onza T-Lite L, wearing jeans and a white long sleeve T-shirt with a red T-shirt over the top (silver Giro Xen for more detail :o)!
