  1. Could someone who was close to him enquire as to wether his family would appreciate a donation to a charity or something similar please? We can bang on for ever and a day about the merits of helmets, but time and passion would be better spent doing summat constructive in his memory.
  2. They work though, in all weathers. I reckon you could cope manfully with the lack of noise given that the brake wont land you on your arse
  3. ooo you beggar, I'm gonna get called a copycat now It is a ruddy good idea though, well done
  4. Pretty normal for it to lose a little bit of fluid, thats a breather hole and in this weather it'll be working hard.

Seeing as the name of that file is summat like adamant-06-A1, then I'd say its the stock frame slower than a sleepy snail today....
  7. M6/M6 The M6/M8 is for the larger main hose connection.
  8. Lets be fair, lots of English have problems with working out this forum.
  9. Cracks start with small holes, big holes are good. Bit difficult to tell without looking at a pic, but remember lots of stressed tubes in aircraft are slotted and drilled like that. Besides, the T-rex is plenty strong enough and could do with losing some weight.
  10. Soma make them, you may have to try american firms for them though.
  11. That was good, for a layman like me it was easy to watch and nothing stood out in the editing as being rubbish. To point out the obvious, you dont actually have to be any good to be sponsored, just useful to the company. Dan would seem to be both.

    Emo Girls

I'd say that with no clothes on and the lights off, it doesnt really make much odds On another note, "alternative" is a shit description. There are so many of them in bits of Notts, the real alternative is townie scum....
  13. Real heat can make lube run out of the hub bearings, but I think you wouldve noticed that happening. Avid pads just dont like heat, in any form
  14. Thats the curviest "straight line" i've ever seen
  15. Highly likely he didnt mention any problems, simply because he just wasnt aware of them....
  16. Smaller ones were fashionable a long time ago, i dunno if anyone still does them. This is the one time when its worth sacraficing 10 mil of ground clearance though.
  17. We tried the reverse version of writing genius on him. Didnt work much....
  18. Seeing as it'll be under a lid, I used to nick my sister's curved hair clips to deal with the front bit. Now permanently cured by our good friend #2

Engineers suppliers, surely you have one you go to for gas and bits and pieces Iolo? The tool is easy to make, making the tap is another matter.

    Death

Wouldnt say im looking forward to it, but im curious as to what being dead is like. The thought of afterlife is a bonus. As a mate (ex-power station engineer) said: So long as my parents are long gone by the time I kick the bucket, and my sis is well provided for, I'll go quietly Cremated, then I want my ashes thrown into the firebox of the first steam engine I drove, while she's working hard, chucking me all over the land I love
