  1. Sod the bug., feeeeeeeeel the Marcos
  2. Ball burnishing to a good polished finish is way more expensive than one coat of dulux....
  3. Nitromors take a bit of time and a few applications on the powdercoat Sun use. A decent scraper helps massively rather than a brush.
  4. Single bolt through the back, same as all other road brakes.
  5. Yes, its a normal headset press with the right bushes to fit the cups. Not exactly rocket science, but i dont know anyone who uses a press when theyve got a hammer and a block of wood handy.
  6. We can push for a perfect hub as much as we like, it isnt going to happen anytime soon. The biketrial bike is less than 20 years in development, go and look at anything else that handles this much abuse and you'll find its taken far more time, effort and money to perfect it. Really, ten minutes pulling a hub apart isnt a problem, if it is i'd go and take up fell running or knitting.
  7. Todge, probably an Airborne Lancaster. Absolutly gorgeous machines  The frames without pivots are called soft tails, Dean make one. Cannondale make them too, but use carbon instead of Ti for the 'pivot' section.
  8. Mono's are very reliable, mine works for a year at a time between rebuilds, and it took nearly three years to kill the freehub completely. Get one, fill it up with oil, give it some time to wear in properly, then forget about it.
  9. A well designed Ti frame will last practically forever barring big stacks, so its a good investment. After all, there are enough XTPs about the place, and they cost more and die quickly. I dont see why the Triton shouldnt be a big success. More than the weight loss, which is minimal in this design, the ride feel is very different to any other material, its springy and flexy. Ride one before you dismiss it out of hand
  10. Since when has f**king people about been funny?
  11. Its not high though, its the same as a monty x-lite.
  12. If you'd like a third opinion, it'll be shit.
  13. Apart from phil and adam, I cant think of anyone who would know, those cranks arent exactly common.... Div's right, we'd help if we could.
  14. He used a single point tool in a boring head aka a flycutter. In no way on god's green earth does that resemble a grinding process. If you knew anything at all about knurling you would also know it doesnt remove material either.
  15. Revell is short, leesons are, old t-rex. Damage depends on how long the wheel was loose, and how sharp the ends of the hub are. It can be enough to scrap a frame.
  16. Meanwhile, back in the real world, cake and oxygen are plentiful, and some nice fellows are making me laugh by smashing up computers in front of desperates :P
  17. Probably the weight of shit spelling dragged it into the abyss.
  18. They DO give more power, you just have to know how to look after them, or be very lucky, to get the best out of them. Despite the carbon body, they are bloody tough little things, it takes one hell of a thump to break them.
  19. Cars are nice and replaceable, people arent. At least you can have a nice new challenge when everyone's better :turned:
  20. Aint overly surprising that being stronger and heavier means you break stuff quicker though is it? <_<
  21. Andy, is this strength useable at all? or just one of those "well the challenge was there, may as well do it" kind of things?
  22. There's a couple of impreza turbos in the autotrader for 4 grand, Uk cars with full service history, should be pretty sound. Plus we all know subaru's exhaust note is better, especially the quad cam legacys :(
  23. scamming, as in SOMEONE ELSE has the pics of the car and is trying to screw money out a unsuspecting buyer.
