  1. I was running a tryall on a hope mono ti hub. Stupidly I ordered an echo rim without realising it was 32h, can it ever work? cheers, Phil
  2. That was by no means trials, a couple of pedal hops do not consititute trials riding. Most of it was streety stuff. Not trying to put you down I started on a hardrock Phil
  3. Incredible video, liked everything about it. Exactly how a trials video should be. A younger Tra I say. Phil
  4. Really good riding, enjoyed that. Except the music was terrible Phil
  5. I'm afraid your misstaken. I ride a Toxsin 1, just moved from a T-Rex hardly the height of trials fashion. Besides if I saw a high levelled rider riding it I would still have exactly the same opinion which I don't think is on to aire here. Phil
  6. Glad you guys enjoyed it too. 1.54 I find ridiculous and the ups to front were masssive/ Phil
  7. In theory but the average rider changes their frame more than once every 5 years or however long a 'lifetime' is meant to imply, for different reasons other than 'it snapped' for example they fancy a change of Geo, have grown, just want something new etc etc. So whilst you have got your frame for a couple of years it may aswell be a light one. Not that I'm some extreme weight weenie but if your buying a frame for $900 you've clearly got some spare money going around and its highly unlikely your going to be keeping the frame for 5 years + so what is the possible point of having a heavy one. Expensive frames should not be heavy just doesn't make sense in my eyes. Welcome to prove me wrong anyone. Cheers, Phil
  8. Favourite one of me Drop at the Hook Woods nationals earlier this year taken by my girlfriend. Cheers, Phil
  9. This year was my third year, preety lame, just the same stuff all over again. Trials was impressive but didn't have the same energy as 2006 or 2005. AND 2005 had epic outside sections which were huuuge. Its a good day out and all but I don't think I will go next year unless something is different EG Trials forum people meet up! Phil
  10. Enjoyed watching that, some really awesome riding BUT the Nikita guy was very annoying to watch! Phil

    Toxsin 1

Cheers So nice to ride I got it off Phil at select bikes for £150 and it was brand new Ha yeah the old try all is buckled like you wouldn't believe, its in shocking shape lol! Thanks, Phil
  12. Sounds like a silly question but is Andrei not better than Danny Butler? I thought that was the case. Phil

    Christianity

I agree with you. Although I'm not a christian, actually consider myself an atheist, I do support christian values on practical grounds. It is clear that if people don't kill, don't steal, don't commit adultery etc society is going to be a better place which works more smoothly. As for some other religious values such as the Jehovas Witness mother who rejected being given blood to save herself on religious grounds and then died leaving her children motherless - what a load of CRAP. (IMO) Therefore if religion improves peoples lives and makes a better world then I have no problem with it, just isn't personally for me. Phil
  14. The post being slow is one thing but not making any effort to get in to contact with the people he is buying/selling to is an absolute joke however 'safe' everyone keeps saying he is. Phil
  15. I believe your words were 'far superior' not 'abit superior', just thought it was abit full on for braintree saying what he thought. But anyway in essence I agree with what your saying so doesn't matter. Phil
  16. Bet it weighs about 3 grams! Looks very nice Phil

Cheers Haha your right I didn't exactly rush into the decision but I'm really happy with it, lovely to ride, such an improvement on the t-rex. Phil

    Toxsin 1

Got my Toxsin 1 recently and built it up. Thanks to Phil at selectbikes.com for all the help - very good guy. Feels so so nice to ride, very smooth and preety light. Also replaced the stem so I don't have the ridiculous riser one I had on the t-rex I'm going to change the rear rim to a black Echo when I can rope my mate into building the wheel for me, should make it look slightly nicer. any thoughts? cheers, Phil
  23. Out of interest who actually runs trials-uk? Phil
