  1. Er what happened to you on sunday when myself, spode, and Phil king were waiting for you and co? ps, Chris bumped into us during our drinking session at waterloo station.
  2. That orange shirt kinda stands out though personally, id like to see a day-glow orange shirt/sweatshirt. So that got me thinking if i could possibly use your design (with your permission of course) to have a day-glow version made for myself or possibly go to Spiral Direct.com and get them to design to come up with some trashzen hooded sweatshirt as their designs are awesome. Checkout them out!
  3. 07905519145 for future reference. i should be there about 1:30-2pm-ish. ill look around the usual riding spots before i quit and ride elsewhere. my A1 wont be 100% dialled, but im not feeling it today and just wanna build up some trials stamina.
  4. Wheres your sense of adventure and taking on a new challenge, instead of riding the same old places. ill show you a pic of it and the City Thameslink step down to drop line. ive got no time for the same old lines. Ps, ive lost both you and Spodes number, so buzz/text when your in london. if its still on that is!
  5. I guess the 1% accounts for taking your rig out the door and then bringing it back in . no just kidding, its a shame mate.
  6. Change of plan. yeah i can make sunday as im going to NBS saturday. Dont suppose any of you guys would consider trekking to south east london or Elephant and Castle. there is a nice location that looks like a mini Stone Henge. Tim.R has seen it.
  7. Whats wrong with the touch-up how to on trashzen? julien explains it pretty through.
  8. Nah! my A1 mod needs bedding plus im more keen to check out the NBS this weekend for a bit of summer inspiration. May london ride looks better if there arent too many trials events going on.
  9. Wouldnt it be a neat idea to get, or borrow a Sound Pressure Level unit and measure the loudness of different brake pads to see which comes out top trumps. though as i stated before, Rimjam pads would probably win such a test hands down.
  10. No disrespect Adam for expressing your idea, but you did title this post as absolutely stupid. you didnt serious expect to be praised with curiosity from other members. Dont sweat it with the negative comments as you kinda dumped yourself in it. your not the first, or the last member to slagged off.
  11. Hmm, anyone here to dispute that Rock Pads are grabbier than Rimjams? i dont think anyone can dispute that rimjams are the loudest pads on the decibel level.
  12. Your camera may not be SLR, but the pics are quality . Are they on Rimjam website now? ps, should be riding your old A1 monday.
  13. Typical Neil, monster-trucking anything and everything big. 60ins is a more realistic target for neil than 63ins. One wonders if he would have acheived this feat on his 07 pitbull!
  14. Your rig looks so much sweeter than previous, esspecially with the white rims, white rimjams, and silver forks. surprised about the amount of rise your running as i figured you would have cut your steerer tube down a bit. still a limey2 thing of beauty never the less.
  15. Couldnt access this vid at my local internet site, but it looks like a youtube clip. do you know what title i need to type in on the search engine?
  16. Your right, that is a stupid idea. high speed rolling drop would be fun to see.
  17. Well you know the old saying, "dont knock it till youve tried it". im pretty sure that if these spokes can handle the abuse 30ft slopestyle drops, then they are possibly good enough for trials abuse. probably best to lace them on a front wheel build only. Well im gonna have a chat with bombshell and see if i can convince them to send some samples to tarty bikes and get their test team on them. then we will all see how they handle after 3-6months of abuse. watch this space!
  18. How about this for a weird idea, run a fixed rear wheel on a fixed front sprocket. this would probably only work on a mod only, but imagine the possiblities. uni-cycle riding on a trials bike that would be funny to watch someone do that.
  19. Hey there Alex, whats the update on your project A1 mod?
  20. For such a nice clean looking frame, your bike is a mess colour coordination wise . Ash was right about the shed though!
  21. Are you gonna invest in a longer stem for your A1 short? say 110mm/10-15 degree rise.
  22. Maybe i didnt explain this properly but Darren Berrecloth IS, sponsored by Bombshell. all his spare wheelsets are laced on the tiflite rainbow coloured ti spokes.
  23. For all you light weight freaks whom are keen to shift approx 100-200g off your wheelsets , i remembered seeing this product in DIRT magazine last year i think. Go to www.bombshellparts.com. All i remember when chatting to the technical sales guy about this product was that the technology behind machine drawing titanium, is a significantly leap forward from the first generation ti spokes which were too flexible, very difficult to true-in and get the right tension, and snapped like matchsticks. i also remember the guy saying that the bombshell ti spokes are not only significantly lighter, but stronger than stainless steel spokes because the ti spokes stay in better tension. at £30-£35 for a pack of 18 spokes(198mm-260mm length), they are ridiculously expensive unless of course your prepared to pay for that. Former bmxer/Freerider Darren Berrecloth, uses them on his freeride rig, so they must be strong. for info, email bombshell at info@bombshellparts.com. Ps, dont know how to provide a link though im sure Mr Boon, can handle this. would be nice if bombshell could send some samples to our tarty trials test pliots, to see how they handle under trials abuse.
  24. Wait till the sun comes down. around 7-8pm should do it.
