  1. When did Kenny.B make the switch to Monty then, and will he have a signature frame out? not that he needs one with the awesome bike skills he demostrates on youtube.com.
  2. bought one last week from Supercycles, and boy is this thing light. a bit worried about the headset cups not fitting deep enough into my Adamant A1 headtube and preventing ovalization. oh well, too late to start worrying about it now as ive bought it and may as well use it.
  3. Nah those arent it. these funn rims are black with lazer etched writing on the super massive 25mm sidewalls. YES 25MM triple boxed rim construction. Massively strong but weigh a ton! availiable in 36h and 48h. about £30.
  4. that one hell of a lot of drops to put 07 rims like that out of shape.
  5. The black bike that Akrigg uses in Earthed3 and Trials Noir is the mongoose trials. the silver bike is a Charge trials prototype which will never go into production. the mongoose trials rig is kinda old skool geometry, short, high seat tube height though akrigg rides it like a beast. just like any other bike he rides.
  6. Oh my god, what kind of rough riding did you put these rims through? and to think im having a pair of 07 echo built up by tarty on april 18th.
  7. Oh my god! this guy kills it with his wheelchair skills. guess it wont be long before he hits a half-pipe ramp and starts throwing down 540 airs
  8. if its strength-2-weight ratio on 36h then its Mavic D521 aka EX521. if its trials specific then its Echo 2007. if its bombproof then its Funn 2006.
  9. i think the title makes a valid point that trials is dead in some parts of the world.
  10. ALL VIDS SHOULD BE MADE LIKE THIS! just click and view. picture quality is usually good for youtube.
  11. I viewed this product on tarty web last week, but it wasnt availiable to buy.
  12. Just viewed the teaser on youtube. Oh my god, oh my, i must buy buy buy.
  13. --> QUOTE(danny B @ Mar 20 2007, 01:27 PM) ←sorry old ashton wasn't my cuppa and the new one don't do it for me either dated design very two years ago sorry ali prefered the mbk to that and after all this time all that changed was a few dimensions not impressed sorry tarty bikes ***Isnt it funny how most of us today take the modern trials geometry for granted, yet we all hated the original Ashton justice when it first appeared on the trials scene. love it or hate it, we all have to agree that the justice made the most significant leap to revolutionizing trials geometry.
  14. So your foot wasnt busted enough to stop you riding then?
  15. Geometry wise, it doesnt look much different to the 06 justice. dont agree with the slacker head-angle, considering its only 1080 wheelbase. Martyn should have kept the head angle at 73 degrees. the white paint job does look a beauty because it makes the geometry and angles more revealling, unlike the black 06. i wonder what the second colour is going to be? Whatever martyn does with the graphics, its gonna look slick anyway. i guess its still made from 7075 alu, instead the newer Full Ultra6 alloy.
  16. Ahh thats a shame. i was hoping it would have been a Hoffmann 20in mod, though im sure they must have one.

    Oh No!

Well you certainly seem to have captured this pic in good lighting conditions, but why is this picture so pixcellated? this pic doesnt do your rig any justice at all. Sort this out.
  18. Interesting looking rig. not much styling going on but very functional. im equally interested in a close up view of that 20in mod in the background. So jake, if you can possibly find that rig and post it up, we would be very grateful.
  19. This is how trials should be photographed with plenty of action pics (where the viewer can see and appreciate the skill of the move from start-to-finish). has your friend ever considered doing some freelance action photography, because he certainly knows how to capture dynamic action shots. Ps, nice riding by the way
  20. Hmm whatever! at least we all agree that the bike is a beauty, regardless of what it is made of.
  21. Er excuse me, but titanium IS a type of steel, just like T45, Reynolds, & 4130 cromoly.
  22. Needs a re-spray. but apart from that, its a good setup.
  23. Its a 1.5in headtube. only FSA, & Creek make 1.5 headsets, though your Fsa PIG pro is bombproof enough. Mission Cycles at the moment, are not committing to the trials industry because of poor unit sales of their trials bikes(specifically their bikes using the 1.5in headtube). So unless you got a ridiculously cheap deal on your 20in rig, your better off getting an Onza(if on a budget) as it will have a better sale value when you progress your skills and move up to getting a better trials rig...unless of course you decide to give up riding after 6-8months and just want to be able to sell it. depends on what area you live and what the riding scene is like there for trials. that 20in Mission will do the job, but its basically Old Skool geometry/weight/style.
  24. The pics dont do much justice, which is a shame really. both steeds look good.
  25. Ha Ha! I love the improvised saddle. thats just so neat.
