  1. Haven't washed mine since i bought it in 2010. Was expecting a thread full of the Clean rigs, disappointment in the shape of long low and silver
  2. For the love of God don't use that font. May as well be comic sans...
  3. Get those bars rolled back!
  4. Right, geometry. If you're choosing between Inspireds to copy it pretty much goes like so; Original Fourplays are around the 1040 mark, which is heavily towards the trials side when it comes to street. They rode nice don't get me wrong, but were too long in my opinion. Next is the Element, they're a little longer than the new Fourplay at around 1025 but that's in the chainstays, the rest of the geo being identical. Would pull up ever so slightly slower for manuals and hops, and be a tiny bit lazier on the back wheel. Then it's the new Fourplay which is 5mm shorter than the Element on the back end, as above it's a pretty negligible difference. Heading way over to the street side is the Skye - it's about 990 wheelbase with the bb 10mm lower than the two above. Lower bb makes it feel a bit more stable and arguably manual/ hop better, and the wheelbase is obviously well suited to spins and stuff being so short. Actually hopping around on it would've been compromised a bit in being so short but anyone buying one of these won't really be giving much of a shit about that anyway... My Leeson sits in between the Skye and new Fourplay measuring around 1010 with a +20 bb, 380 stays and a slightly steeper 74* head angle, feels ace for me but i am very tempted to try something shorter still (a la Skye) but that won't happen 'til i kill it. If you want street, go short and low, if you want trials, go long and high. Pretty simple.
  5. I'd just get a 24" bmx if i was looking at that! There are plenty of steel framed trials bikes out there (i've had 3 myself and one's in my garage as i type this) which do the job well enough. As much as i'm a fan of steel frames, I can't see why anyone would realistically choose one over an Inspired. People go on and on and on about strength, but i can think of only 2 or 3 Fourplays since they were released in 2007 that have broken which is bloody good going. You don't need anything stronger than what's out there at the moment.

I kickboxed for about 7 years or so, really regret giving it up! Wanna get started again but no time
  7. Weight, pure and simple. Yours, happy riding an 8 year old steel frame.
  8. You sure? As weirdoku said it's usually the exact opposite. They're not too cheap to be useable, my Squier's set up well and as far as actually playing it goes, it's gorgeous - i still prefer it to lots of the more expensive stuff i've messed about with. I'm no expert (i've taught myself to play and wouldn't consider myself anywhere near average yet) but with a bit of logic and some tools i'm sure you could set it up nicely yourself, or just take it to a shop and ask them to do it. I keep meaning to put aside the time to sort out my Dean semi - it's pretty horrible to play "as is" and has the nut spaced out with bits of card to get the strings higher haha! One day when i can be arsed, i'll sort it...
  9. That's a good point - wherever you go make sure it's somewhere you can properly chat, going purely to a cinema or something is total bullshit.
  10. Bought that bitch a 4 foot wide sombrero. Bitches love 4 foot wide sombreros.
  11. Stop thinking you retard. She's accepted and has suggested you two go out some time, keeping things chilled to start out with - it'll all be good. Sounds to me just like she's got her head screwed on right as opposed to not being interested...
  12. Step 6, no matter what you're going through 24 + tour x Joel Bennett = smiles.
  13. My ex is doing exactly the same thing, she's with a right fanny now. We've been chatting a lot and she's really not happy with him and he's struggling to get his head around the concept of matching up to me ('cos i'm the best boyfriend in the f**king world, seriously)and the fact we still talk, so i know that's all gonna be very short lived. What i will say though is stick to your guns - if it's not worked and she's acting like she is that's as good a reason as any to never go back there. It's what i'm doing, she can be my mate all she wants but i'm not interested in her like that and i know full well i'd never get the thought of her and this dickhead out of my mind for as long as i live, so not really worth it. It's a shame 'cos she really was special to me and we've got/ had an awful lot between us, but she chose to throw it all away by f**king him behind my back so she can sleep in the bed she's made.
  14. Already did! IOLO used to turn out custom frames years back. Really really impressed by that Aran, good effort.
  15. I am excite. Loved that mate, very nice
  16. Know hoe you're feeling mate! Me and Mel exchange one or two messages a day now, that's literally it. Weird how it's ended up like that after chatting to her more or less constantly for the past 4 years... Moving on is hard, but it's good. Just don't go f**king around or whatever you're not gonna get any real enjoyment from it in the emotional sense (i know you're like me when it comes to that stuff) just chill, do cool things, branch out, chat to new people, it'll all work out. In Skoze news, the sombrero was definitely a good "sorry for being a dickhead" present and things are actually going really well with the new interest. She's keeping a smile on my face
  17. 50psi, Holy Rollers. Weigh about 12 stone, hoppy hoppy isn't too much fun but for everything else it's a beaut.

    Stripes!

Holy bar angle, Batman! Looks like a cool little build though - agree completely with the tyres
  19. What they said. I made some a few years a go and they were a right pain. Think Judders is still running a set of mine actually haha.
  20. Congratulations man - good luck!

    Leeson

Why the f**k would he do that? Looks good though man, much better
  22. In skozenews™, apparently a 3 foot wide sombrero fixes things.
  23. Yeah i know what you're getting at Jason, i just mean for me i've never really known anything else when it comes to having a head on my shoulders that's anywhere near grown up enough to give a shit about what i do with myself. We've been on and off since i was 15, so it's a pretty sizeable chunk of it. Time is a healer, i know that all too well - just wish it'd hurry the f**k up.
  24. She knows there's 0 chance of me taking her back after this, i just can't really switch it off. Don't get me wrong, i'm not being a massive pussy about it and letting her do what she wants - i'm very much in a controlling-my-side-of-the-deal position, i just f**king hate it. 3 and a half years man, that's like most of my real semi-grown up life.
  25. In "i need to learn to press the ignore call button" news - damn, this whole 'love' feeling is f**king bullshit.
