Finishing up my UAL Foundation Art + Design course tomorrow, just going through my sketchbooks ready for final hand in - all set up for my exhibition and just doing all the boring behind the scenes stuff now to actually back it up and get my stuff up to scratch. Land Rovers i can handle price-wise, Mini's and old VW's etc seem to be an absolute mystery to me - scene tax doesn't exist with what i'm used to haha! Just after something that looks good and isn't rotten, happy to sort some mechanical gremlins out. As said above, bigger the better really - as long as it covers everything you're all good. You could get pro like me and make a section in the centre to fit fairly snug inside the top and bottom cups with a hole drilled through the middle where the threaded bar goes to keep it all straight. That combined with big 5mm thick washers and dirty great nuts handles things pretty nicely.
