  1. Loop pedal is a lot of fun to use - I think I've just about sorted out a hobby for each type of weather now too which is cool.
  2. I heard talk of pics but didn't see any so went incognito for twenty five minutes.

    Films!?

I've been telling people at my work to watch Whiplash but they dismiss it as a music film - which it is but it's one of those movies that I group into the 'just good regardless on genre' genre.
  4. Managed to get a new guitar that I liked in the January sales and ordered a loop pedal last night. Already gotten the 'oww like that Ed Sheeran thing?' twice but I've wanted one since KT Tunstell was a name people knew so can't wait to fiddle around.
  5. I just type in jazz music and play any playlist, I work better with something on, it's like my distracting thoughts are loud so I need something louder I know a few people who said they listened to white noise doing their dissertations, works for some. I think there's a few app kind of things that will turn off your internet for a period of time? My local library doesn't have wifi so I always get a tonne of work done there.
  6. Opposite to above All about low volume jazz music played through speakers
  7. Yea it's not like I was expressing my opinion on it, I'd just rather not have used the words 'thinks gay people are disgusting' before finding out he's gay...
  8. Well mine was going well. Spoke to my manager about how I had ordered my favourite TV series DVD Angels in America but probably wouldn't watch it over Christmas because my religious grandma would be staying and hates gay people. Literally less then ten minutes his husband shows up. Didn't even know he was gay.

    Films!?

Gets a solid 6 from me. Parts of it I really enjoyed but a few plot things made me pull my 'really?' face a few times
  10. Didn't have a chance to watch but it's good to see trials riders branching into the viagra market
  11. Got my mum a Kindle since I didn't bother getting her a 50th present a while back... The idea was I'd set it up for her but didn't realise it goes with your Amazon account and I won't ask for her password. So she's getting a badly opened Kindle now.

    Films!?

Seeing it tonight and I am pumped. Getting a lot of good reviews, but so did Phantom Menace when that came out...
  13. I like the lack of context this has in the new posts on the homepage And there was me thinking we have some good TF gossip
  14. I like to feel like I'm on TF, not sure why, it's just quite comforting so it's this
  15. Have to disagree with this, mostly anyway. I do think that the high production videos can lack a bit of charm but all the clips in Danny's videos are justified by the riding in my opinion. I agree that in a lot of videos too much focus is placed on the setting and the whole scenery shot thing but in this videos case it complimented the riding rather than being the whole focus. Each to their own though Loved it, I'd say that I wish I had permissions to ride on roof stuff like that but I know over 6ft has me going 'sh*t'
  16. I read a theory that he's paid to do what he does to make other candidates look better. First I laughed, then I In other news what does #lybbg mean. For research of course.
  17. So buying a full sus will help with fakie nose manuals right?
  18. I feel like the tyre bumps aren't adding much and add a clumsiness to something but besides that was definitely a mouth open video.

    Films!?

I really wish they hadn't given so much of it away - I feel like I can accurately write a plot summary now.
  20. Time for a Christmas topic - what are you guys going to be using as presents this year? I didn't get my mum a 50th birthday present so apparently I'm supposed to be making that up to her so present ideas for that demographic would be appreciated, thinking one of those £50 Kindle Fire jobbies.
  21. That's the debate at the moment - a lot of the leaders prefer a 'balanced program' meaning more arts and crafts, theatre and electronic stuff... Obviously any session with a fire involved is going to be the funnest.
  22. Concept and execution were not good
  23. In my quest to be a stereotype goody two shoes, in my role of Scout leader I went to sing carols at the local old people's home. It did not go well. None of the Scouts were singing more then mumbled and it was left to me to be that annoying first person who sings first so people get where we are. Horrible experience.
  24. Thought this was definitely his best, going to be good to see him on a 24" and get some size to his riding.
  25. Well I'd assume they are more for the general public, especially something like this, it's not like trials riders book a trials demo. But I'd disagree on the whole. Way Back Home, Epechn (something like) and Industrial Revolutions were amazing trials video for me.
