    Films!?

Managed to go to a media screening of La La Land last night and it was incredible. I'd completely recommend to anyone, maybe even if you don't like musicals but if you don't maybe watch some clips first
  2. Ta da, looks cool, congrats on that. Will they be using clips or were things filmed especially? Also no one likes bmp files
  3. I've been listening to Bon Iver's '22, a million' album non stop for the past few days - bloody awesome.
  4. Gahh, I hate it when videos end with something not pulled. Crazy stuff though, I wish I could even consider jumping to a rail that high
  5. There's a little text interview up on the Redbull site. I was wondering if the log remained slippery after a few goes and know I know the answer "There was nothing funny about this project, it was all serious business. Oh, the Vaseline... I decided that I wanted to do a log slide in the film and we managed to find this log in the middle of nowhere. In the beginning it was covered in algae, so when it was wet it was very slippy, but after a while my bike wore away the algae and we had to start using artificial lubricant. I think we went through 14 tubs of Vaseline. There was all sorts of other lubes used on this thing as well, but we'll not get into that. Every time I would land on the tree half the Vaseline would end up getting scraped off – my shoes and gloves were full of it! 6. Buffering has me stuck at 2:24 and I think I've already seen ten bangers Seen it all now - completely insane.
  7. Yep, just seemed like more efficient route planning might have been necessary - not a big deal though
  8. People on this page are having worse problems then me, but I've order condoms off Amazon to my work address and left my name off of the delivery address. This means the post guy in the building, an acquaintance of mine and everyone in the building, is going to open the package to find the receipt to know who to give it to and see my multiple packs of thin feel condoms before emailing me to collect my parcel. No good will come of this.
  9. Really liked it, filming goes a long way. My complaint would be going back to locations already used, didn't really work with the little story to it.
  10. Maybe move your pads back a bit?
  11. Having brought my bike to Edinburgh wanting to finally ride Bristo Square I've now found it no longer exists.
  12. I'm in Edinburgh at the moment and keep walking around seeing how big all of Danny Mac's riding was. What I thought was the least impressive clip of his old videos were pretty hefty gaps and hops.
  13. If recommend riding less smoothly so the size of the obstacles is more noticeable Nice tap to the corner too, super cool
  14. I've always joked about making a 'hit TV show' but two weeks ago I decided to actually give making something ago so busted out a few scripts for a little web series and posted it online to see if anyone would actually be interested. A bunch of actors have replied saying they're like to do something so I've now organized some script reads and a initial two weekends worth of filming. All very amateur but it feels pretty amazing to be the guy that's making things happen, it's just weird thinking that these are human beings on the internet saying they're interested...

    Films!?

If you've read the books the movies are more like companion pieces rather than a substitute, movies don't even get into a fair amount of the sub-plots that develop some of the themes (thinking of the house elf politics mainly) but I still find it amazing that they managed to create eight good movies. I still get goosebumps watching the introduction in Goblet of Fire. Potter nerd mode activated. I'm hoping they make the new play into a movie, if they did it right it would be incredible, perfectly serves a nostalgic aspect by bringing a lot of key characters into the mix while successfully being it's own thing with a good plot as well. If you've read the books I think you'd love the script.
  16. Full disclosure – this might be one of those ‘do some work for me’ posts… Roped into doing a pub quiz and one of the rounds is a ‘tragedies of 2016’ round but in a light hearted, first world problem kind of way – like which celebrity fell victim to a botched forth breast enlargement and then the answer would be Katie Price. If anyone would be kind enough to give this ago so I’m spending less time going through Daily Mail headlines from this year, please post away
  17. Such a nice style to watch, and loved the guy on the Zoot starting with small stuff then going at some big kicker hops.
  18. Ed Sheeran's No 5 Collaboration Project is pretty awesome...
  19. I've wanted to get a full sus from watching more trials videos now than mountain biking videos... Awesome riding though, that last tap was worthy of that many different shots
  20. Was hoping for a specific chain that might do them, I'm in London and I've been in 5 Evans Cycles now and a few independents with no luck. I've read that the sizes can vary a bit like that which is why I've avoided going straight online,
  21. I've been wanting to get some Five Tens for a while but I'm old fashioned in the sense I want to try them on before I buy - anyone know any stores that stock them in store? Or if anyone has any recommendations of shoes with a decent and thick sole I'm likely to get in person might as well post here
  22. I think a few people have tried this just using google maps - it's pretty easy to create a shareable one where people can post. This was a good example, but the domains been sold -

Different directors, and I loved End of Watch so I had more trust in David Ayer than Snyder. There was so much potential...
