Personally I'd close the gap between your contact details and the name on the home page to make it look a bit more 'placed' (I feel like that makes sense). Also the text under Automotive says that your details are at the top of the page when they're not, not sure if you intended the email and phone to be in the same position as the home page? And like JD said, personally I'm not a fan of slideshows (or really anything that changes unless I click it) and think the sizing as now with scroll through thumbnails along the bottom would smarten it a little with the benefits of picking and choosing more. There's my unprofessional opinions It is nice as it is though, that's me looking for improvements.

Girlfriend's dog still cramping my style. I bought a wee music box thing that plays the Funeral March by Chopin, y'know, inside jokes. Remembered to bring it along last night but she gets the 'you dog has three months' to live call from her mum. So she's upset and now I have a funeral march wind up box just for my own pleasure.

Was only announced late on Friday so drinks are kind of off the table, and it's a 'two sets above casual acquaintance' so not going massively out of the way Been agreed to do a wee card and for one of us to chuck it over to him and people say their own goodbyes so should be all right. Thanks fellas

So a guy at work who's been in my works badminton club for the past year was made redundant. We're a pretty friendly group and a few of us thought a bottle of wine and a card would be nice to quietly give him at the end of his last session. I thought acknowledging that someone's leaving after a year of weekly after work would be better than him leaving wordlessly but a few people, not in the club, have said they weren't sure about this and it bordered on faux pas territory. Thoughts?

Went to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time play and it was amazing, I've wanted to see it since I heard it was starting which was a while ago and absolutely no disappointment.

Why is this such an established thing and why does it come in a box?

It's not so much I like receiving clothes, I just like getting clothes because the present is basically not having to go clothes shopping. Plain coloured t-shirts are a favourite of mine, but soft ones that make my skin feel like it deserves something.

Girlfriend sent me a picture of what I assumed was one of her art projects which I said looked good. It wasn't an art project, it was the tumour that her dog had removed yesterday which was something I may have forgotten about. I'm now wondering is she insulted that I saw a removed dog tumour and my first thought was that it was her art. Caption photos when you send them is the moral, and also tumour can actually be visually pleasing when removed from body.

I wasn't actually expecting the opening of John Wick to be as emotional as it was, especially thinking that Keanu lost his girlfriend. Awesome movie though.
