  1. You having problems with the hub bearings? Ive serviced a mates Pro a few times and theres been almost nothing wrong with it. Oh, stick a magura on the back of it too
  2. Ive run nothing but Maxxis for 2 years now. Brilliant tyres. However Ive used the Echos and there pretty good too. Im gonna be running a rear Echo with Kenda up front in summer. Pure TGS However the Try-All Stickys are good too. Bouncy, grip well and Logos look sick
  3. its not so much the condition of the bike, its how its happened. Im saying another zoo lynx is being ridden better and harder by a friend of ours. The one in question is half as old, only 6 months, and ridden no where near as hard. As mark mentioned, very strange place to crack.
  4. onza comp, onza blade, Echo Lite 09, Zoo Lynx, Onza Ice and the chipped Gu Le on Tarty All are great frames for good money. You shouldnt be disappointed with any of them.
  5. they work great on smooth rims too if you get it set up well
  6. my names sam Ive been riding for around 2 years now. I could already trackstand ect from my dirt jump back ground. Back hops were mastered within 3 weeks, and crank hops in the following month. From then i can just stand on the back wheel, with almost no correction hops. Up to back wheels were achieved after 3 months, and am continuing to get my technique perfect. Sidehops took longer to learn, and only began to get decent heights after my first year. They arent my strong point. Im capable of doing some fair sized gaps though, and not phased by big drop gaps. Biggest gap from one ledge to the other on the same height is about 6 to 7ish foot now, but havent measured my drop gaps which are bigger. Up to fronts are in progress and gaps to front are nearly dialed. As youve probably figured out im a bit of a TGS orientated rider
  7. For disc, try find a second hand Hope Mono Trial for around £60. Magura wise, Get a set of Heatsink yellows. Amazing pads
  8. The bike in question is far from battered and is kept in a high state of repair. It is also a very strange place for is to crack. Surely a frame defect? Especialy considering our friend Kornel Brygola has been riding one hard for around a year with Zero problems. Andeee will confirm this for me. Not sure what action could be done on this but needs sorting. The Zoo Lynx is a very good frame, and should no have cracked in this space in time, in such an unlikely place.
  9. You would hate my 1070 wb Python then haha
  10. I always used to suffer from this when I first started trials. I came from a Dirt Jump background, where absoloute strength or fitness is less important. I found i just had to keep riding. Trials has played a big part in my overall muscle development, stamina and skill on any bike. I got booked into a gym and would run for half an hour, followed by weights then finishing with some stretches. To get your stamina up, try ride something else along with trials. I ride bmx tracks on my dmr and set myself a time to get round. Helps loads
  11. Thanks allot Mark Im running a Try-All Nuc stem with the Try-All Rage risers at the minute, but should be buying some Echo TR risers soon. Rise ok? If not new stem can be purchased too. Im running Try-All forks too if that helps? Current frame is Zoo python 06 long.
  12. Hey guys, ive been looking at buying one of these instead of swaping my current mod for a stock. Really like the look of the super low frame, and spanish bb. Question is: How do they ride? Im new to looking at geos so dont know what im looking for. And how have people found the spanish bb to be? And have the 4 bolt mounts been welded in the right place?! Trait of old echo frames.
  13. Im running 170mm TrialTech cranks on my Python and feels sweet with an 18/ 12 setup. Though Ive been riding an Adamant A1 with the same 170 trialtech arms and feels great with a 18/ 15 setup. Its a +15 bb though with quite a low front end
  14. adapter spacers = flex in my experience.
  15. my echo 7075 ring fits my trial tech cranks like a dream. With 8-9 threads for my tensile
  16. and a sound investment it will be hope you enjoy the benifits of sealed bearings. Glad i could help
  17. ive got a Try-All nuc stem on now with a set of Try-All Rage risers. With 20mm of spacers underneath the stem and the bars angled up a little it feels so much better
  18. defo sealed bearings. My brothers got the TR rear wheel, and with me setting it up, I can say it does. Brilliant wheels in my opinion. I can personaly say the echo hubs are brilliant. As mentioned earlier, im running the tr hub and is super smooth
  19. On sale at Tartybikes last time I looked....
  20. I want the bb height really. Usualy judge my stems on that.
  21. I set them up as recommended in your video Le. Sanding them to the angle off my rim and filing the mounts flat. Made sure all of the pad surface mad contact with the rim at once, nice and square. Fresh grind, 10 mins normal riding, Amazing. Well done Tnn!
  22. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=45862 Not the best photo. Will update with bette ones tonight from a different angle
  23. Really?! Didnt think they were that long! Il get me tape measure out Yup, my wheel base measures out to be 1070. Long mod
  24. Hi guys, Im looking around for a new stem and would like one to suit the geo of my Zoo. Im not too sure on the geo but know it rides horrible with a low shortish stem. Length and rise on the stem to suit the geo Thanks.
