  1. I got mine off Planet X website, about £4 each if I recall. They have both options as well
  2. @LEON that is epic. What a steed
  3. Hmmmm. Proper trials on proper land how it should be or man made uci shite. I know which I'd rather ride. One suspects there's more to this than meets the eye
  4. Depends what pellets. You need Wadcutters, ie flat nosed. Rws hobbys were what he recommended to me. Diablos don't work, the shape is all wrong. Mines a bit better now it's had a load of pellets through it
  5. It's personal preference. There are no rules for it. I ride a mod now, and on all the mods I've had in the past I've had 170mm cranks on, got 170mm cranks on my mtb, and got 172.5 on my roadie, so can't really tell the difference. 160mm cranks on a mod feel too short for me, I'm 5' 10" tall
  6. Bought another toy. It's not very accurate but it's good fun
  7. It is happening, Tim Mcparland who owns Onnit bikes asked me if I'd come and observe at it
  8. Onza's eBay page also has a used front magura gustav m for sale
  9. Did my first ever comp with my lad yesterday. He's 8 and wanted to have a go, so entered him in white at bracken rocks. A few tumbles and a fatherly "man up" and he was loving it. And he beat me as well, got less points haha
  10. That's rather nice. Bet it's really good for old school style comp riding before it went all pogo stick. And can do streety stuff when you see fit
  11. Prob should be in the F1 thread, but I thought it deserved a thread of its own. Turn it up loud
  12. You want a proper trials video, watch something by CLS or Damon. This is typical euro styled up bullshit, made for likes and to massage ego's, not to inspire riders
  13. Onza blade with dual saints on. Won me my first ever medal at a comp
  14. Yeah it'll be fine if it's bled right. Blob of loctite on the adjuster screw to stop it loosening under use, I've had 3 of these levers and done it to all of them. Pad wise, I used heatsink yellows on my echo 24, upto user preference. Those, TNN ADM's or cousts work pretty well with a nice sharp grind on an echo tr rim, assuming that's what it has on. Deffo grind the rim if you are riding in anything other than warm perfect conditions
  15. That would look really nice with a set of luminous yellow Danny Mac mt8's on it

    Zoo lynx 20"

Yeah it looks it, it's all solid and no play in anything, works a treat. Why hope don't sell a conversion kit I'll never know

    Zoo lynx 20"

It looks like the driver has been shortened, the outer bearing removed and a thread cut into the the outside of the body to take a bb lockring. Obviously the axle has been shortened and the spacer modified to suit. It looks a proper job because the rim looks to be dished correctly, not pulled to one side or owt. It's a strong wheel as well, I can't feel it moving. Had a quick look inside it yesterday and it's all in brilliant condition. edit: it looks like the disk mount has also had 2 or 3 mm machined off it, can't see for what reason though. Just means the mount needs packing out a bit
  18. So I accidentally isitafox's zoo lynx 20". I'm probably a bit big for a mod but meh, if I don't like it the lad can ride it. It's Hope mainly, custom 116mm pro 2 ss/trials in the back, headset, front hub, brakes and rotors. Viz forks, echo tr cranks, try all bb, trialtech 180mm stem and high rise bars. Try all stiky tyres, forgot how bouncy they were. Glad to be riding again
  19. My new motor, Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6tdi. £20 to tax, 60mpg, insurance is £470 because I'm a hgv driver now and apparently we are high risk despite being qualified and trained upto the eyeballs
