  1. I wouldn't recommend parking there, the security guy said he'd get the police involved if I parked there again!
  2. Just back from an epic road trip, and I've been awarded a first class honours degree. Also riding with Danny Mac tomorrow!
  3. That link ain't working for me...
  4. Grades for 4th year are WAY better than expected. Should easily get a 2:1 with that. SWEEEET
  5. Robin, they are gas charged. I'm pretty certain that the only potential problem he could encounter is that the mounts/bolt tubes (or whatever they're called) may need to be cut down to fit a 240. So with a little work, I think they'd be fine. I really wish I could rebuild them myself, but I don't have the slightest clue what might be wrong with these ones. They basically provide very little damping at the moment.
  6. So jealous. I'm very happy after sorting my rear suspension, no more nasty noises. I've got two Bilstein dampers to sell that need rebuilt. Does anyone know someone with experience of rebuilding dampers who may therefore be interested in getting some profit out of these? I'm thinking about £40 posted, and once fixed they would be worth at least twice that. Bit of a long shot I know!
  7. 10 day road trip through Belgium, Germany, and Czech starting in just 6 days! We're meant to be staying in Prague for a few days but it seems to be underwater at the moment. Not even sure our hostels still exist....
  8. Ground rim on the back now, it makes me sad. Still, the new Pro 2 hub has given me a bit more confidence so it's all good!
  9. Sounds like you're tracking is ok, so I'd guess that your steering just needs centered. Perhaps the garage did the tracking with the steering not exactly central.
  10. Edit, beaten to it.... My car changes lane when braking, it's a bit scary to say the least! Got some polybushes for it but there's so many other things needing doing as well.
  11. Seems like that video makes everything look smaller than it really is. Nice work though! I might hit up Glasgow on Sunday.
  12. I've got a meeting of some sort tomorrow but I should still be able to make it in for about 1pm. Can't guarantee anything though
  13. I only just got back into riding after months of being ridiculously busy, but it'd be a laugh so I'm game for a ride. I'll let you know if anything gets in the way.
  14. It's in good hands http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/178059-ashton-eddie-tongue-its-back/?hl=%2Bashton+%2Beddie
  15. These briefly made me happy, but there's still a knocking noise from the rear suspension. I really hope something else is making the noise, but I can't think what else it would be.
  16. That clean relaxed looking style is right up my street.
  17. Oil on my clutch. Ain't got time for that sh*t!
  18. Sweet, my exam went well too. Can't wait to have a life again.
  19. Sweet, but why did you go for a dry sump? Just curious. Robin, just thought I'd mention that 960's are a fair bit more sophisticated than 940's, so they are quite different cars to drive and work on etc. You probably gathered that already.
  20. I think the size of the boot will be near identical to the 240. I know what you mean about the space, it's conveniently square shaped but not overly huge. They are big looking cars, but by modern standards the external dimensions are actually quite small! I'm guessing the boot is probably still slightly larger than the majority of estates though. An LPG'd one would be perfect, if you can find one!
  21. Just bought BBS wheels to go on the brick. Only problem is they'll need tyres and expensive spacers in order to fit. Definitely going to be in debt very soon, oops.
  22. Bring back the heavy metal tgs videos! Ben, pics or lies
