  1. Just built this up this week. It has some new pedals and Magura MT7 front and Magura hs33 rear coming, but I am really happy with it. The Geo is what I was looking for.
  2. I've been riding my wire bead Projekts for a while and am fairly happy. Saving a touch of weight with a folding bead would be nice if it was available. So two questions: Anyone ride the Der Baron 2.3 in a folding? It's supposed to be around 900 grams, which is a nice savings. From what I can tell online, it has an apex insert, so it should be fairly pinch resistant. But I am a bit worried it might not enough volume. Also, the Der Kaiser Projekt is supposed to come out in a folding version this year. Has it been released yet? That would be a nice way to save some weight on a tire I already like. Conti tires seem to take their time coming to North America....
  3. I thought that was pretty awesome! Their riding is super dialed and it looks like they do a great show. It's some awesome exposure for our sport!
  4. I used one for a while, but I don't do a ton of hooks or front wheel stuff. Only used it for like 6 months.
  5. Back when I had my trials shop I had got a bunch of requests for something similar. People looking for out of the box braking solutions google "bicycle hydraulic brake splitter" and end up at Tarty. Boom. Someone should use it for trials though. Cause that would be twice as awesome as normal trials.
  6. Nice video! With a name like Alex Dark do you spend most of your time fighting underground crime syndicates?
  7. What are people using for rotors on the MT7? The Magura Storm?
  8. You can't take them apart. Sometimes cleaning them out real well and adding some silicon lube around the piston will help. If it's coming from one of the fittings you may just need to redo the fitting. But, if its shot get a new cylinder. There's a good chance somebody local has one sitting in a parts bin they would give you.
  9. How did you like the frame? GLWS P.s. what is the reach in the breath?
  10. Does anyone have thoughts on the Breath Yes frame? Specifically anyone have experience without upsidedown carthy bars? The geometry of it really intrigues me, but I'm not sure if it would be a disaster to ride. Quality?
  11. Will they be available frame and fork only? I hadn't seen them anywhere yet.
  12. The upgrades look pretty sweet! Is the frame much stiffer? Has anyone actually ridden one?
  13. I saw a couple changes to the seat stay, brake mounts, and headset. Was there any change to geo? I thought it was the same as last year.
  14. What are some of the best short feeling 26" pure trials frames out right now. I'm on an Ozonys Curve V right now, and it's nice and all, but I want to go back to something shorter. My question doesn't just pertain to how it feels, but also to quality. Since people will ask, "why". Shorter pure bikes with conservative bar angles are fun for adding spins, and streety style moves. And at 5'9", I'm not exceptionally tall either. Some frames I was considering. The new Echo, I liked my Mark IV and Mark III. Has anyone actually got on one yet? Roxxor 26, seems short. Breath Yess. It was super short, but is the quality decent? Koxx Sky IV. Out of principle I probably will avoid it even if it was awesome. Any other suggestions?
  15. Managed to break out the camera today before the snow came. Haven't been the bike much at all lately and got kicked out of a few spots Cheers
  16. Whats your rim and pad setup?

    Nice! I enjoyed that
  18. Frame flex can be annoying, but with that setup it might be something different. 2mm really isn't enough to feel horrible at the lever. Does it actually feel bad when riding? Is the brake well bled? A poor bleed can lead to similar results. Pads are hitting square? Finding a super old school boat anchor style 4-bolt booster will be a bit stiffer, albeit extremely heavy. That's what I run, but I have the 4 finger trialtech blades and am fairly heavy. It just doesn't sound like that is what you need
  19. I have a bag of a few hundred of anyone wants any, I am in USA though.
  20. I ran a pair on a dual disc 26" bike a while back. Not the best with standard pads and discs, but an upgrade to jitsie / trialtech pads and hope rotors isn't too pricey and made them work really well. I think they have a decent lever feel.
  21. The big thing isn't the design. Racing line, freno, hashtagg are prety much all the same '05 style knockoff. What matters is if the production quality is there and it doesn't get leaks.
  22. The intro seemed in poor taste to me. I get he's riding at Omaha beach, but still. Iciar is a really good rider, this was a bit disappointing.
