  1. Question for Dave... if Adam slaps on a diffuser that’s reasonably effective, I presume reducing the ride height will increase downforce and relatively evenly? What about side skirts? If you added something like they used on old f1 cars (rubber as far as I remember for a full seal) what sort of performance gain would you get if any?
  2. You just made my day. I’m sooooooo tired, and this cheered me up no end.
  3. That article looks like it’s complicated Why not go full Gordon Murray and get a fan on there

Aww that was a let down. Russell was brilliant. Deserved the win but I’m glad Perez has won one.
  5. Nope. I love it. Just found another one of mine whilst YouTube surfing... schmee/supercar blondie/influencers in general proper wtf with schmee and blondie - less personality than a tree stump and crap at talking about cars, yet actually do consulting for car companies and paid bajillions.
  6. Cricket I love more than cycling. What’s not to get? If you are struggling, watch the IPL it’s epic sport

Stoffell and he will have his ass handed to him by bottas. I think if bottas thinks he can win without Hamilton I think he will be quick enough.
  8. Curiosity got the better of me, but It’s definitely a random generator because... I certainly did lol.
  9. I’d be too nervous to take this test
  10. agree but... Christmas that lasts longer than much longer than Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It’s a fairly bullshit holiday if you aren’t religious, and people spend 2 months a year thinking about it planning it and doing it - it’s crazy - a 1/6 of your life being in Christmas season?!??!? my perfect Christmas - Eve eve- get some presents for immediate family. eve - get a tree decorate it, cook the ham day - eat, go for a walk and slob out with Claire and griff boxing - see some relatives and slob out. Days before new year - eat cheese and drink wine with friends New Year’s Day - take down the tree. Don’t think about it again until 23.12
  11. Ah ok nice - in that case - what about some super sexy aero hubcaps instead of closing up the arches? If you are venting out of the top of the arch I doubt it would affect temps at all and should do a little for drag as a cheap easy diy?
  12. When you say wheel tabs do you mean some super sexy aero hubcaps? I love those images of simple shapes and the drag, I also love the uci get around bike tube profiles where you take the bottom right shape and lop the back end off to simulate a more efficient shape that fits into the uci rule box. I find aerodynamics incredibly interesting
  13. What’s the most efficient upgrade going to be? Seal up/flat the floor and add some diffuser?
  14. Yeah - EPDM, was easier to install than a fibreglass one but more expensive. Should last a long time though and looks pretty pro with the trims. yeah they are all becoming more and more different along the terrace - ours has by far the worst solution
  15. I also did mine about 7-8 years ago, I’m currently using a tado room thermostat for the downstairs which keeps it perfect temperature in our open plan ish downstairs. It does geofencing and you can set time periods for different temps that come on as long as you are at home. It’s fantastic BUT our house has a really crappy extension which means a section of it upstairs (north facing open on 3 sides poorly insulated) can’t ever be warm enough because the boiler isn’t fired up for long enough when keeping the main rooms warm. I’m considering going to smart rad valves as tado for me works sooo well (it’s not about money saving it’s about comfort and convenience) but it is a big investment for all the new bits I’d need. if you have an evenly heated house then a timer and simple trvs will work really well, a thermostat in your main living area will probably give you more control in that room but maybe less in others depending on what heats up quicker. If you just don’t want to ever think about it get a smart system and just have it take care of things.
  16. Progress has been slow due to weather and COVID self isolation, but I finally fully finished my complicated roof structure. just need to measure up and decide on/order some doors.

  18. Giro was epic again!!!! this year has been f**king fantastic for grand tour cycling. I hope TGH can bring it home tomorrow on the TT.
  19. Mot pass. 211k on the clock. Zero effort.
  20. No nail gun experience but I glue on my skirting boards, as I’m too lazy to cover any nails/screws after fitting...
