  1. 10 hour GCSE art exam today and tomorrow... 2 hours done and I seem to be on schedule, if not ahead
  2. I got some cheap 1.5mm thick washers off of ebay for a few pounds, 24mm inner diameter and 32mm outer
  3. That's what I've gone with I ordered a new Hope BB cup (only £15) and some M24 washers to put on the axle
  4. Hi guys, I have a pretty major problem... It seems that my Hope bottom bracket and first couple of threads on my Arcade's BB shell have stripped... With the standard 2x2mm spacers on the drive side and 1x2mm spacer on the non-drive side the chainring doesn't clear the stays so I may have made a potentially (probably) horrendous mistake of running all of the spacers on one side... What do I do? Get another BB (or just drive side cup if possible) and try and figure it out/completely wreck the frame threads or buy an ISIS crankset that may not clear the frame either? Or am I stuck having to get the Arcade crankset that will definitely fit? Have people used this or a similar setup before, and if so, how? Where should I go from here? Not to mention that I'm going on a bikey holiday to Devon in a week... Cheers, Joe
  5. Fathead interviews Danny Mac: http://www.redbull.com/uk/en/bike/stories/1331694353687/danny-macaskill-interview
  6. There is nothing you can do... Just accept your fate and make that darn nosedive graceful

    Ashton.

This just makes me want an Ashton even more than I already did... I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing though
  8. This chap in Japan has nailed it in my opinion.
  9. My first proper ride on the Arcade... I just can't wait until Tartydays now! Edit: And yes, I know my tyres are a bit flat
  10. I finally got my Arcade and I must say I am rather pleased with the result...
  11. Boom! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271761514967&alt=web
  12. I have ridden with both on a mod and the inspireds were 10 times comfier for me, but that's because I don't like tonnes of upsweep as it puts weird pressure on my hands. I hope this helps at least a little bit
  13. If you want maximum braking powah, how about a set of these 225mm bad boys? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/hope-mono-6-pot-floating-disc-brake-rotor/rp-prod3488
  14. How on earth did you do that!? That is a discount and a half... Kudos to you, dude
  15. http://m.pinkbike.com/news/hope-technology-cranks-first-look-2015.html I would love a set of these, but I think the logos are a tad too in-your-face for my liking
  16. You can get one custom machined up. Euan Beaden does them, so try giving him a shout

    Seat Angle

I have mine set parallel to the toptube of my frame mainly for aesthetics, but it isn't bad to sit on when cruising about. I've never had issues with it getting in the way, although I am not an extreme rider
  18. That is along the lines of what I was thinking... inspired disc mounts are pretty beefy so I doubt I would have a problem
  19. You are my kind of man! The only reason I don't run 203s is that I don't want to invalidate the warranty on my frame. Does anybody know how much more likely you actually are to break your frame with a 203mm rotor?
  20. Where I am, nobody has a clue about what Hope parts are, but still want to nick my bike because my purple Hope stuff looks nice I once got a death threat about the noise my freewheel and brakes were making (or something like that) while riding through my local shops, although I think it was more of the person doing it trying to be funny in front of his mates rather than an actual threat
  21. It must have been a prototype? This was posted to Jitsie's official instagram after the event:
  22. It's the new Vertigo, developed by Dougie Lampkin I think. Dabill seemed to perform well on it on the night despite the fact he had only been riding it for three weeks prior!
  23. Wut? http://instagram.com/p/xM5-MwR9zQ/
  24. Do they look too flouncy and delicate? I find that hard to believe when we are to ones who prance about in leggings, short shorts and brightly coloured shoes #GetRektM9 I get where you are coming from, but if I'm going down the purple route, I may as well max it out!
