Yep. It is pretty much the same. I don't really want to void the warranty because I worked hard and saved up to get that I am looking at the mini-M4 saw and the mono 6 saw. I have no idea what would be better though
I Hope (pun intended ) that the Tech 3 E4s perform well, I just shed out for a set of nice purple braided hose ones for my element! I just need to find the appropriate 180mm rotors now...
I bought one back in mid May and I haven't had a single issue. It sounds identical to the day I bought it and not had even a sign of a skip. It has really positive engagement and just feels really sturdy, plus it looks mega cool I personally wouldn't go back to a FFW if it could be avoided
They have something like 204 engagements don't they? But they're pretty expensive... A quick google search reveals that the $450 price tag is about £275. I wonder what the reliability is like? http://www.profileracing.com/estore/product.php?productId=408
l ride the new element to school sometimes with 22:16 which is about 2 miles in 15-ish minutes on flat/slightly downhill. It is surprisingly easy, especially with decent hubs/bearings
Much easier than when I used to occasionally ride my mod to school!
I find that with a heavier, non-optimised bike you need to focus on technique more as the bike will make it harder. By dialling your technique on a challenging bike, you can then transfer your skills to a 'better' bike and most likely be even better.
Ali C could definitely sidehop/bunnyhop/anything a folding bike higher than I could on my inspired because he has technique. (That would make an amazing video Ali, get on it )
That's just my view
Is that frame 135mm spacing or is the hub machined down? I like the idea of having a mod along side my 24 but don't trust FFWs and want to run dual disc
Very very good looking BTW. The brakes look really good on it, just need some black unground rims now
Cut the downtube, one seatstay and one chainstay off, plug the ends and fill the frame with helium Also, who needs 32 spokes per wheel? Just remove every other one and your bike will weigh much less! Trust me
Oh, and take your seat off
I just couldn't be any less interested in comp riding than I currently am :/ I just can't get into it, whether it be bicycle or moto trials. I personally see it as men in tights and shorts doing sidehops and doesn't seem to have the variation of street riding. Then again, I struggle to watch many pure trials videos without getting bored although I can definitely appreciate the talent involved!
I am sure that is completely wrong and I'll get shouted at
Slight thread hijack, but how are the new saint brakes? Paired with the saint ice-tech rotors, how would they compare to Hope tech 3 E4/V4 4-pot brakes with the hope floating rotors associated with them? I am looking for some new brakes at some point in the future to replace my front SLX and rear Magura MT4.
Thanks, Joe
Harry Main's new edit- I have never been a BMXer or had much interest in it, but this is amazing. I had a look at some of the other content on his channel and all I can conclude is that he is completely mental.
That last two lines are amazing!
Edit: Forgot the link because I am a muppet...
It has a fujigas sticker on it, which is the nickname of Japanese moto trials rider Takahisa Fujinami. I know that some of his family rides bicycle trials, so it must be some Japanese custom build, like bing said. I have no idea what the benefits of that system would be though?
