I had to send in some bits (snapped crank axle and bent freehub body) and they sorted it no issues in a couple of days. They even chucked in new bearings and a dust seal for the freehub body, so they're pretty darn good in that sense really.

Yeah, they are pretty narrow. I bought a set for my Arcade when they were fairly new out and they clear the chainstays stationary, but not always when under load because there seems to be a fair bit of sideways flex. I definitely agree with them being a bit of a faff to install too. I don't suppose you've had any issues with snapped axles? I've snapped two of them; one on the splined tabs at the end and one randomly in the middle... I'm not going to complain though, I'm a heavy lad and not particularly smooth

For it to be slipping for someone your size, it's probably one of two things. Either your pads and/or rotor are contaminated with a bit of oil/grease which is where I'd just buy new ones, but you can clean them if you're persistent. The other option is that you're not pulling the brake hard enough

For the tyres, just chuck in a fair amount (40psi or 'hard-ish' for non-gauge people like me) and let it out to suit. Just make sure it is enough to stop the rim bottoming out and maybe try and eliminate most tyre roll. I generally run mine quite hard, but it all comes down to your mass/riding style/rim width/riding location and mainly preference

That's obviously because Claude doesn't just lift; he does flexibility training too. If you focus solely on building muscle, you will sacrifice flexibility unless you actively work on sorting that too.

It really does the bike justice I know you probably haven't ridden it much, but what are your initial thoughts on the Pro 4s? Are they really any better than the Pro 2s in the engagement department or is it just a newer and shinier version?

I went out with my tripod today knowing it was a little wet and windy, but thinking that it wasn't raining so I may as well take advantage of it. I did a few bits and set up my phone on my tripod for another line, but it got blown over and went screen-down onto the gravelly tarmac. I smashed my glass screen protector and decided that was enough and promptly went home

This is seriously good and all, but personally I would like to watch the insane flow and smoothness of the likes of Ali C, Aaron Browne, Ben Travis etc. over this fairly repetetive beast-moding. The basis of trials is getting through the environment without dabbing, in which case this guy straight up wins. However I don't really mind who can sidehop the highest, it's all about being smooth. I've said it before, but I don't care if someone is going up a 6 inch or 6 foot wall as long as it is silky smooth, and nobody is beating the aforementioned in the smooth department. Just my thoughts

Something that you want, but wouldn't buy yourself. Like if you think "oh, that's nice", but think you could spend your money on something else. For me it was a nice thermal coat that I wanted for when I'm out riding, but I probably wouldn't have ended up buying it myself. My dad bought it as a Christmas present and I love it

You can fit Hopes if you buy an 83mm BB crankset and space out the axle instead of a 68/73mm. It might end up looking and feeling über wide, but it is a potential solution if you feel like going down that route.

I'm in the same boat too. I have been able to get out briefly between showers, but always get rained back in after 20 minutes. I've even got a new bike that I haven't been able to have a proper go on. I don't usually like coats, but I got a new one for Christmas. It's a Tog24 softshell and I think it's great.
