  1. That's what I thought when I saw it, just didn't find the right words for it. I really really like his style.
  2. But aren't they cut by hand on the brake surface side? They weren't very level and a little rough on the surface. Not like Heatsinks or Tnns.
  3. Why would that be when after having cut them they still have to be put into the plastic backings? It's on thing less to do. Why would it be more expansive then?
  4. I know, I fitted mine to TNN backings but still... would be nicer to have them w/o the plastic backings and over here in Germany, the Heatsink yellows are cheaper than the Trialtechs so I assume they could be the same or lower price even, when produced w/o backings.
  5. Organic pads have more initial power and let you down later on in the downhill ride. For sintered it's the other way round. More heat = more braking power (up to a certain point). For trials the best pads are organics as there is no heat whatsoever.
  6. It is louder still when laced to a 26'' rim. I was really surprised when I compared the Pro II Evo Trials to my Echo TR FFW with the latter being almost silent in comparison.
  7. Cool beans. I'll get some Trialtech ones for my next build then. Hope they aren't too expensive though. btw. Why aren't there any orange Trialtech refills? Nobody wants the plastic backings anyways and it would be cheaper as well.
  8. Love that M10 drive side bolt as it almost certainly gets rid of the rear wheel moving even w/ snail cams. With my Hope Hub bolts I never had that problem. How are the bearings compared to the ones Echo uses? The Echos are shitty as hell. Even when new they are rough and the wheel doesn't spin for a very long time.
  9. I know I know (hater) but that is not one month of riding only. Especially those pedal kicks are too good for a former BMX rider with only one month of practice.
  10. I've made very good experiences with Trickstuff organic pads. Sheer power in combination with my Saints. The original sintered weren't of much use for trials and as I've understood it, sintered need heat to be working well, which organics don't.
  11. For how long has the complete Racing Line brake been out?
  12. Since it's relatively new, there won't be any reported problems with the complete brakes yet.
  13. It really does. After reading a couple minutes I kinda see the writing still, when I'm not looking at the page. Kinda like when you're looking at the sun and then shut your eyes.
  14. I know and even with higher torque (and greased bolts) I could make the bar move when sidehopping (not that I know any technique). I guess I should post videos calling them "pure strength".
  15. Same as the Try All but nobody seems to have any problems with bar slipping and stuff...
  16. Well, I got a very good offer from a polish trials SHOP for a Born CNC stem and have mounted it already. The four bolt clamping is so much better in my eyes and the stem looks awesome. Kinda like Thomson stems which are my favorites*. The finish of the Born stem is different to the Brother stem. It's not as smooth and even though it's anodized, I couldn't hear any clicking noise from it, probably due to the different surface. *I wished Thomson made 150x30° stems. I'd pay a lot of money for one of these.
  17. As my 5ten Spitfire have gotten a bit old I decided to give the Adidas Terrex Swift Solo a try. I wouldn't say that these shoes are comfortable as they are very tight (nothing for wide feet like mine). The grip is alright but nothing compared to my 5ten. I don't know if it's better with caged pedals but with my Wellgos the 5ten are just better (and more comfortable).
  18. I don't like the white on black background as it makes my eyes sore.
  19. But a track rider and when you do track riding the first thing you learn is the track stand.
  20. And why doesn't she know how to track stand? When I started this sport it was the first thing we practiced.
  21. There's no nature nearby where I live. I also only just started with trials so there aren't many spots I ride (to).
  22. Oh gosh. I forgot about that. On a track bike the track stand is way easier than on a trials bike as you can pedal backwards to find the right spot.
