Wow, you don't have Salt n Vinengar crisps? Unlucky, they are the best kind.

Nah, that's crap. We will live longer than that, if only because medical care is getting better every day, making people live longer.
  3. Yeah, with all that action close by, Dave won't need any mags Teehee
  4. IMO, get a disc. I'm a fan of Avid stuff, so I'd recommend them. Either the BB7 or the Juicy, it's your call. To be honest I reckon the BB7 is more powerful, although the Juicy feels much smoother (like the Hope trial). If you want a Juicy, On-one still have them for £100 (front 185), but they don't have any BB7s left unfortunately.
  5. What's the model number of the camera? I have a program here for the mac called handbrake, which will rip any DVD into whatever format you set. So you could easily rip to uncompressed avi and then whack that into Premiere etc. Obviously that's no use to you, but you should be able to get an equivalent for the PC. I've not really used a PC for stuff like this for a while so I'm not sure what's available. But like other people have said, you must be able to use Firewire and/or USB to capture stuff. Good luck
  6. Hahah, good one Mike. That is ghetto as f**k. Good work (Y) What's it ride like?

    Helmets...

You need to try more on that just Giros. I have always tried Giros on and thought the same. They never fitted particularly well, and looked like they were really high. If they don't fit properly (i.e. they move), then try another helmet/brand. I found that piss-pots fit much better, so I bought one. Sorted.

    Junk Food

I don't like fruit. My mum works for that 5 a day campaign and she's always trying to get me to eat more fruit and veg. But I just don't like it. I eat it because I have to. If I didn't know what a healthy diet was, at least 50% of my food would be chocolate-based

    Junk Food

I never really eat crisps or other shite food like chips, kebabs etc, but today I've had 2 chocolate bars (A galaxy caramel and a Crunchie, since you asked ) which is about average :$
  10. I don't think you'll need any insurance, but it won't hurt to get an E111 form (actually I think they've changed to a card now).
  11. Me too! Glad it's sorted though, wireless networking can be a bitch.
  12. No no no You don't need to change the IP address at all. I have never found a use for assigning static IPs, they never change anyway. And you certainly don't want to put that in the allow list. You need to find the mac address (NOT the IP address, that's something totally different), and put that in the allow list. It'll look something like this: 08:00:69:02:01:FC
  13. You either need to just add your mac address (it should be printed on the wireless card somewhere, or in device manager, I'm not sure), or turn off enable access list.
  14. The last time I used Zonealarm (age ago) there were loads of options for exceptions etc. I can't believe that they have made it worse since then. Are you sure it's Zonealarm that is causing the problems?
  15. They're not really that expensive Compared to other stuff on the market - they're much cheaper than discs but (probably) more suited for trials, and they are about the same sort of price as a decent V-brake set-up. If they were double the price I'm sure some people would still run them. If you want to moan apart the price of trials parts, look at frames. But that's an argument that's been done to death anyway.
  16. I don't think so. You could always download the torrent I guess. It wouldn't be that illegal...
  17. Ah wicked. This is ace, I've been wanting to watch that again ever since I first saw it. This is awesome people. Cheers for the heads up "I gaze longingly into their plastic laminated catalogue of dreams"
  18. That's what everyone says. I've never used one, or even ridden on a bike with one on, but people say they are pretty rubbish. Aside from dying as quickly as your average Shimano hub (if not quicker), the engagement is supposed to be really "mushy" because of the mechanism they use. I'm pretty sure they don't have 62 pickups. They have technically an infinite amount because of the way they work (I think), but they are mushy so it's not amazing. I would avoid.
  19. You don't have to do that. If you don't, it just puts them at the end of the post

Sounds good to me. Attachments are really useful, I guess it's about time we shared the wealth Is now the right time to mention bigger avatars?

Nooooo, don't do that! That's what makes us special
  22. Maybe if you turn off system restores, but I wouldn't. Just leave it. If it bugs you, turn off "Show hidden files and folders"
  23. Yeah, you'd just end up with a crap frame and a crap mark, unless you spent 10x the amount of time on it. Just do something simple. I made a guitar stand - It was only 3 pieces, so was pretty easy to make. The smallest projects get the best marks, by far. I got an A* If you want to make a bike, do it in your spare time and just do something very simple for GCSE.
  24. Get Partition Magic on the go again and just delete that partition, then make the c: or whatever a bit bigger to fill the empty space.
