It's really not that bad, only takes a few minutes with a grinder. Once you've gotten the top bit off the bash will just lift off and you can unscrew your freewheel by hand. Think mine took about 5 minutes and i took a while making sure i got it all perfect with no marks on the bash.
-
If it snapped like mine did it will be pretty hard to get a decent enough grip on it due to the huge curve on one side. I whacked mine in a vice and ground away the top half of the cranks (the only remaining bit of the arm. Then the bashring fell off and i unwound it by hand. The crank was destroyed anyway and i'm unsure if onza will even half price replace tensile stuff, i know they get really pissy about zona not being covered like onza so won't do it for them.

Yep, my local halfords had mispriced them or got a bunch of the wrong tyres sent. They're all gone now though.
-
Having starred in that myself at 2.28, i was using koxx yellows, so essentially no.....
-
I wasn't told this when i was prescribed them for my ribs, in fact i would never have known until you mentioned it just then. What kind of dosage were you taking? Think mine are like 30mg codeine.

The trials bike very rarely ever gets dirty, more a fine layer of dust which gets a rag across the bars and the toptube once everytime i notice and thats about it really. The big bike gets a proper clean like at least once a month though.

If your headphones have a built in amp like the website seem to suggest they do then yeah, but you would need the female RCA connectors on the cable. So one of these would do it. Or one of these. Basically any 3.5mm to female RCA adapter will do the job. The lens as been great cheers mate, a load better than my crappy ebay one i was using before!

If you could stretch slightly more. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-339-IN http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-315-GI http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-183-OC

Yep, it's AVCHD. The RAM is good yeah, i wouldn't be worrying about it holding you back at all to be honest. The processor on the other hand though.... Dual core should be fine for 720p but for 1080p you'll be wanting a quad core. I'm still running the old lga775 components and picked up the ancient q6600 to make editing smooth with the HD footage. They're quite cheap now but fortunately intel made such a good chip with them they are still able to offer amazing performance. If you get a 2.4ghz wireless instead of infra red it doesn't have to be line of sight

I use 4GB in my main editing machine and that manages a full HD video stream without a hitch despite being slower older RAM than that. Fan noise is easily sorted via the use of a fan controller The akasa ones are pretty good and fairly cheap. If you set yourself a playlist of music and set the computer to enter sleep mode after your specified time of inactivity you can listen to the playlist and when it ends the computer will shutdown after say 10 minutes and you'll hopefully be asleep. This can be done via the power management settings in the windows control panel.

In for the win! Toby, remind me about your damn bars. They're cluttering my garage
-
Anyone tried these yet? They look to be pretty good numbers wise and the reviews seem to suggest they are pretty durable so was just wondering if anyones had one on the trials bike. 150g for a 203mm is pretty good going. And currently just over a tenner in the CRC sale! http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=47541

Or you guys could think outside the box for a second and realise that people deal with things in different ways. I've thrown my bike a few times when annoyed and while it isn't the greatest idea, it's my bike, i don't complain when something breaks and i still enjoy riding 99% of the time. I'd be surprised if your new bike broke on your first ride and you only ever came out with "oh darn it". Unlucky on the bolt snap though, did you tighten them a bit too much by any chance?

He meant audio out on the xbox.

Wrong. That isn't true at all. Having a tv and only playing xbox on it would require a license by your logic. The case is that they need to catch you watching it or pressure you into admitting that you've watched it. It is possible to detect what frequency your receiver equipment is locked onto however in practice the emitted field is so weak it's hard to successfully use the equipment in the same room, let alone from outside the house. Your equipment doesn't broadcast anything, it merely receives, and the power required for that is barely anything. You can even buy "signal jammers" or build your own using a 9volt battery and some small components and it will genuinely work. Having said that though having a computer in the same room will work too Well the other stations hire out the bbc broadcasting stations and the tv license goes, in part, towards keeping those running. I doubt very much that she won the case after admitting to watching tv, regardless of the station. If that had happened it would set a valid court decision benchmark for future cases whereby people watch everything except the bbc and so shouldn't pay as it's basically the same principle.

The link that says you're wrong? Is not the same as having a video playing phone or iplayer. you have to be watching a channel as it is being aired. Watching last weeks Qi on iplayer is fine and DOES NOT require a license, even on your phone. They have no powers at all, don't let them in. Ring them, tell them you don't need one and if they knock on your door tell them you won't let them in. Even if they apply for a warrant you can make the tv licensing people wait outside while the police come in and check (which REALLY pisses them off ). They have no "detectors" in the vans as the amount of signal strength from a tuned tv dissipates after a short distance, even more so with other electronic equipment in the house and it's even harder to detect now with current low level freeview receivers. Signal dissipation is less than a couple of feet. Because they have no equipment a court case will not lead to a prosecution because the courts have declared that in order to prosecute the tv licensing must detail the way their "monitoring system" works. As they don't have one they can't and so all they have to go on is a confession or admission of guilt. As far as i'm aware no successful ruling has gone through because of the ruling by the magistrates. There are pictures on the net of the depots with all the empty vans. It's all scare tactics. They have as much right to enter your home as a door to door salesman.

Not a massive amount of damage to the bb cups. Theyre right at the end of the bb threads so any thread damage is negligable and there are a lot of DH bb mounted bash guards that are designed to take impacts at much higher speeds into equally as tough obstacles. The only main issue would be chain alignment as you're pusihing the driveside bb cup out by the width of the bashring so the whole bb axle and crank arm will get shunted outwards.

That method can make your hdmi connection loose though as it's still a tight fit and that can lead to handshaking difficulties between themonitor and the xbox. Max, you shouldn't need them both in anyway. Your monitor has an optical out socket so the audio goes from the xbox to the monitor through hdmi then the monitor will send it out through the optical cable and 3.5mm line out jack on the back of the monitor. Okay, so the turtle beach headphones go into the xbox usb for power and then you connect up the audio through 3.5mm cables for audio and mic? So just connect the xbox to the monitor through hdmi, then plug the headphones into the monitor 3.5mm out. There's no need to use optical or the xbox component cable with them.
-
Eh? TV cable? According to the user manual for your model on the samsung website you've got a 3.5mm audio out and an optical out. The 3.5mm line out will be at a line level volume, which means it's not got enough juice to power your speakers, only just enough to send a signal to an external amp. Why would you need to buy a new console? you said your xbox is hdmi capable so you won't get any other connections on a newer one. What exactly is the tv cable anyway? Your monitor has HDMI, DVI-D, VGA inputs and 3.5mm and optical outputs. All of which have space to go in at the same time. Instead of spending money on a new cable, might i suggest having a look on ebay for a headphone amp ;)If you can get one with 2 optical inputs you'll be able to connect your monitor to the amp so the sound from the xbox works and you'll plug the computer into the amp too. Not only this but a headphone amp will make everything sound a f**kLOAD better! Something like this (or cheaper here) would work a treat and you could plug the xbox in via optical and the computer into the RCA (red and white) using one of these.

I was thinking the same thing. The people i know who have depression and that are under 30 either spend most of their time online or have just had a baby. I wonder how not going on social networking sites would effect younger people with depression and whether it would be a quicker cure. I think Ben had it right though with saying that depressed people just aren't well adjusted to this world. We get information thrown at us all the time, constantly being scared by the media, online communication seems to trump physical interaction nowadays and we get all the major corporations brainwashing us into buying the new latest fad just because we should. It's a lot to absorb and if you choose to deal with it by hiding away you just build walls for yourself when it comes to "unplugging" from the virtual and back into the real so to speak. I find being easy going helps a lot and just realising that 90% of marketing is a gimmick, facebook is a tool for organising to ACTUALLY meet with people and that not watching the news/reading the papers does wonders for your health.
