  1. I'm not sure, i think my tolerance to cold has gone up since drinking it. Maybe look into flavourings and branch into human antifreeze for the upcoming cold spell next week
  2. Ha ha, i'm still going to go with syrup from tinned strawberry's mixed with a bit of 'burn your throat out 30 seconds afterwards' Though that could have been down to testing PHluid mk.1 just a couple of minutes before.
  3. I think the implication is that street riding generally flows more and to do so you are rolling most of the time, rolling into spins, rolling in manuals, rolling up to bunnyhops. This means your chain is spinning round far more than someone who goes round doing every move from static in the more TGS style.
  4. When mike had it in the clear bottles it was so hard not to down one. The colour and clarity of the liquid made it look soooooo refreshing its unreal.
  5. FFW in favour of freehub for trialsy trials.. More even weight distribution. Cheaper for a similar weight set up. Better chain life. More hassle to swap sprockets/freewheel/crank arms. Nobody really mentions the chain life part but with a rear freehub every time you pedal kick you're using the same few teeth on your chain ring. This causes the teeth to wear and with worn sprockets a chains life is decreased as the chain becomes mishaped to fit the worn teeth. The freewheel set up continually spins, meaning a more even wear rate for the teeth around the entire freewheel compared to a fixed sprocket up front. This should be nicer on your chains too. I'll be ditching the rear freehub set up as soon as i can, as unless you're thinking of running gears at any point then the freewheel up front is the much better way of doing it.
  6. That's a large hadron collider, soon to be a super large hadron collider when they upgrade it to make it more awesome.
  7. I wouldn't know, i've still never used anti freeze in winter. Only ever had the brake freeze up 2-3 times, usually when left outside. Seems fine in the garage currently though so i'm not going to bother again this year.
  8. Was about to say that what you've described points to a leak for sure. The Dot fluid is very thin but has a very distinct feeling to it, almost like bbq lighter fluid and it has a very obvious smell to it, even the smallest amount on your finger will smell quite strong.
  9. It was the krisboats@hotmail.com one... though thinking back, i might have had to ring to finalise it due to stupid hsbc checks not working. Though i'm pretty sure you guys used my web order number for the phone payments.
  10. Sorry, i meant external references. It's going to take ages to check up on each mentioned person and read their theories etc. and i can't really be bothered. If it wasn't so self contained within it's own domain space i'd look at it a little less sceptically. But if everything can divulge into itself like the text suggested by recalling other peoples/animals memories how can we say that we have difference if the underlying theory is we could potentially access anything/everything along any timeline? If you can access every single memory you cease to be different and in fact are a collective entity existing of one 'vision event' and several terminals (though it also says people may not exist aside from being a creation of the mind, so again in itself, singular).
  11. You never watched starwars? It's called 'the force' Makes sense, but at the same time it references very little in the way of evidence or supportive persons and everything it links to is contained within its own site. Also, I wish they'd stop calling it a hologram, sounds gay as f**k. Also, it says we're all able to link into other memories, past present and future of not only our own species but other species too. Is that not effectively saying the universe is a singular event and that everyone on the planet is actually the same 'being'.
  12. I'd rather have to lube the pistons every few months than suffer arm pump while riding when there is no need to suffer excessively.
  13. I never signed up on the previous site but have placed orders with you. Any way they can be ported to my purchase history?
  14. Yeah it is, though pictures with the light switched on would probably help. Looks like your brass thing is still there though, but again... the lighting is so bad i can't tell 100%
  15. Make sure you de-interlace the next one Other than that, really good video, really enjoyed it.
  16. I'm 6'5" and rode a t-rex for over 3 years and it was second hand when i bought it. Those things are bombproof and still good for riding geo wise compared to todays modern frames.
  17. A selection of glass elements that make up the entire lens assembly. The pieces of glass themselves are refferred to as elements.
  18. I agree with pretty much everything thats been said so far. The 'acting' was crap, but the moves were good, the locations were varied and well shot and the video was very wel produced. I know i've said it before but trials videos need to hit similar to this level of video. As soon as it stops being a bunch of kids sidehopping a pallet with a mate shakily holding their mums compact camera with a fisheye taped to the front, the sooner it'll get out of the crappy associations of being a technically impressive but boring and lycra filled sport.
  19. The continental black chilli tyres are VERY grippy. Really astounding how much different they are to every other tyre i've used. I'd go for conti mountain king supersonic up front £30-35 and then a conti trials rear tyre. Should be able to get both for within your budget if you look on ebay for the front one or something.
  20. Tarty isn't the only bike shop you know. Chain Reaction cycles has the same pig headset, only cheaper and with free postage. In fact you can get the stronger DH version for cheaper than tarty. FSA Pig £14 FSA Pig DH Pro (sealed lower bearings instead of loose) £18 Or if you can spend £22 i'd recommend this: FSA Orbit XLII. It's long lasting, super smooth and lighter than a hope headset, but 6g heavier than a tensile at a fraction of the price. Leaves you a couple of quid for a burger or something too Did i mention they do free delivery?
  21. I'd rather have them come loose once in a blue moon than have them tighten up to the point where the nipples snap or become very stiff to turn, ultimately rounding them as the spoke key slips.
  22. Given that he's currently only done one in the last 2 months i'd be inclined to say none.
  23. Mine! In all fairness though i never finished mine as the scope was far too large. I ended up making an entire eisland that took about 10 minutes to fly across in a chopper at full speed. The bits i did finish were good though, mind you... that was a few years ago now. Probably wouldn't remeber where to start in terms of finishing it. It is yeah, but sod getting given one. Go get a job!
  24. I've stripped and resealed forks but again, have never messed around with a rear shock yet. Though i never go to the bike shop for maintenance. Mind you i'm the same with all things. Computer, bike, speakers, household things. I'll do it all myself rather than buying or paying someone else to do it.
