  1. Get him on either of these or on facebook: Email: sales@trialsaddict.com Telephone: 01582-762947 I've only been running them for a month or so, but i've been really impressed with them so far. Seem pretty good in the wet and the dry. I was worried about them being really unstable due to the light weight, but just use a slightly higher pressure and they're fine. Don't seem to lose out on bounce either. The only thing is I can't see them lasting incredibly long as the nobbles are so low in profile.
  2. Speak to Ben@ Trials Addicts, it's where i got mine from
  3. Or use gasket paper sheets and make your own?
  4. I haven't, only listened to it. Saw he was playing 2000Trees festival in the Cotswolds and another fave of mine Scroobius Pip Vs Dan Le Sac are playing too, tempted to go just for those two! If he ever plays down this end of the country i'll definitely be going. Unfortunately I think it's an itch that will never be satisfied They just seemed to get better and better!
  5. If they said they had the tool and then didn't and weren't able to do the work, then surely you haven't received the service promised or paid for?! I certainly wouldn't have paid the full amount, if they couldn't do it should have let you know and not done anything. Unless you said "yeah do half a job"?
  6. Not trying to be argumentative, but really?! Just out of the people I ride with i've seen 4-5, we used to get a few through the shop with snapped/stripped drive rings and snapped pawls when i worked there. Personally, I've stripped a few drive rings, but they've always been sorted by hope. The King i had was brilliant, no issues with it really, keep it clean, bed it in properly and it'll treat you right. You do read some reports of getting a solid one can be a little hit and miss. Plus the additional cost over a Hope or a FFW in my opinion isn't really justifiable. With respect to Echo SL FFW, been running one of the original one's I bought second hand 3-4 years ago, it's never skipped and still feels solid. I swapped the FW body and lock ring with an Echo Ti FW about 2 years ago and the internals were still looking fresh, once again keep it clean and lubed up and it'll be fine. On the flip side i've seen the outer drive rings crack/snap and internals disintegrate on other peoples bikes.
  7. Just never heard them being called a "clerit hammer"?!
  8. Reuben- In Nothing We Trust Currently track 2: We're all going home in an ambulance http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOK92sPrMLOyg1Ee2I8y0SolUczwOQ-6O Wish these guys would reform already!
  9. Excuse my ignorance, but come again? Headset rocket should work fine.
  10. The there is no hope for you! you'll be riding 8 year old Zoo frames for the rest of your riding days... Or learn to ride a little smoother? Get in line! Could be a while
  11. If a Breath will last Josh a year it'll last most people but one serious note, I love mine and if you aren't a complete basher it'll last
  12. Luke you give my testicles a warm tingly feeling hero.
  13. Just saw that on ASN, all the S3 bashing and you buy one Lovely looking car though On a side, need to sort the paint and half leathers in my A3 any recommendations on either front? I've got some G3 for the paint; which is in generally really good nick, just a reasonable wax for it and the leathers i'm really not sure about. 2nd edit: On an additional side i'm looking at doing a fluid and filter change on it, engine oil i'm fairly sure on getting some Motul 8100 X-cess 5W-40, but the gearbox oil i'm not totally sure on a particular product, so many (conflicting and mixed) reviews online, so any recommendations from any of you 1.8T guys would be appreciated.
  14. Why not just do a running gear swap with your Golf Luke? Boom, sorted Leon and a car to sell still
  15. It's not hard, it just takes motivation. If 4 months without riding is bearable for you then fair enough, if not you'll find odd jobs and pick up a few quid here and there. It's only £12 quid a week for a month and you'll be sorted!
  16. My favourite 26" rider at the moment Loved it.
  17. Obviously "business" is slow, you seem to have too much spare time.
  18. Yeah will do when it's been cleaned and polished, country roads have turned it kinda brown Edit, pics stolen from the advert. In need of a of a decent clean inside and out! No point getting a diesel doing that sort of mileage, you'll probably end up causing more problems with a diesel and short little journeys.
  19. Was just looking at your write up on audi-sport Nick, looking very very quick! In other car related news the big kraut wagon has gone and been replaced by a much nicer A3 1.8T Sport Jardo your K03S thread has already been added to the favorites list.
  20. Awesome riding, excellent beard
  21. Dave me and Joe are probably going for a climb tomorrow, but i'll let you know whenever were heading somewhere. Just got a climbing mat through yesterday for that exact reason mate
  22. That or you can just slot the steerer to allow the top cap to sit into the slot, so the steerer sits flush with the top of the stem.
  23. All works fine for me, think something is wrong at your end. BIke looks nice, shame they didn't use an internal headset/headtube. That and your bars look ridonkulous!
