  1. Get an Echo and single wall it if its not light enough. Strong rims, seems to give a really good grind that lasts and reasonably light.
  2. Either that, TF Tuned or Mojo who are Fox UK distributors. They should be able to supply you with the right kit.
  3. Aye I can understand Bruno being a little ticked off in that respect, he's just had a new rider win the worlds and then he leaves. Abel does seem to be throwing himself in at the deep end though launching a new brand. Be interested to see what comes out of this. Typical Benito has signed for Play and then a spot for a top 20" rider appears with Ozonys, think they would have been suited.
  4. Could be a whole lot worse than an EP3, that saying an EK9 would have been lovely; got a real soft spot for them. I'd love to be able to afford a EK9 Type-Rx. Why did you buy an EP3 Jardo? Thought you hated everything about them, certainly gave that impression when i had one last year?!
  5. In what way is he trying to screw him over? Guess you're reffering to Bruno screwing Abel in some way?
  6. Bit of a surprise to see him leaving them, especially after having such a short relationship with Monty, you would have thought a more stable manufacturer would be ideal. Looks like his hand has been forced a little with other sponsors pulling out, will be nice to see what he comes out with. Who was it that was making the hand made FG and CF 20" frames?
  7. Didn't have any problems at all when I ran a front vee set up on TrialTech forks with HS adaptors. Felt solid and worked really well, can't understand why a vee wouldn't work on a reverse mount fork?! Sure a front mounted brake would be forced away from the wheel as it's applied?
  8. He wasn't reffering to your question being off topic, but his own question about tyres.
  9. Well Echo are Chinese, America are no different to Germany or the rest of Europe. Small companies, with low order numbers, getting items produced by factories in Asia; a lot of it coming out of catalogues.
  10. If half the stuff that trials manufacturers produced got tested properly before sale, then you'd never see them. Echo aren't exactly renowned for using any type of R&D or product testing. FEA, but that's about as far as it goes.
  11. Not really surprised by you not getting a reply from Echo, that's assuming that they'd have the information to give you anyway!
  12. Have you actually tried? I've never had to wait more than 1 working day for an email back from Hope, excellent customer service from them.
  13. Does sound pretty terminal, don't think i would trust it once it had been welded anyway. It's a lot of heat that will go into a small highly stressed area.
  14. The Onza could be welded up, where has it cracked? Bare in mind it will never be as strong as it was, depending on who welds it and what the weather is doing on that day could cause it to last 5 months or 5 minutes. I'd sort out the mod and get it all fixed up and running sweet for spring/summer.
  15. What bike is/was it? Shit that you've found cracks; easibly fixed place? Some Chinese factory making cheap carbon bits. Onza struggle to produce a new trials frame every two years, let alone a Carbon bike!
  16. Neither Pashley nor Saracen are "trials-focused" brands.
  17. Don't think there was really anything in that video that was "small". Abel makes everything look so easy and effortless, it's also a lot harder to gauge the size of moves/objects in videos of natural riding. Definitely the best video he's made so far, need more!
  18. Seemed to hold up pretty well last night Joe, you looked like you were enjoying being back on it! Think you could add a few gussets, but the tubing is so thin I think you'd end up with cracks anyway; you'd just move where they are.
  19. It is a bit of a crappy name, really doesn't look like a Breath or a Sky; certainly not a fusion of the two. Especially when the Breath is a copy of the Sky.
  20. Don't most polishes say not to get it on glass as it can cause the glass to go misty in appearance?
  21. WHY?!?! I'm sure a 4 year bump isn't really necessary, especially when the question was already answered!
  22. It's a Pashley Ghz, from what i remember mine was 1045mm wb and 0mm bb, the back end i'm not sure about.
  23. Just a 2 bed terraced house with a garage, 2 minutes down the road from me. Nothing amazing, but it's a first house and everything I need I know, it's going to be a slow, frustrating few months!
  24. Not the scaletrix version, but have a SCX one which is 4wd
  25. The silver and black v.1 Limey 3 were a little snappy happy, but the all white one's seemed pretty damn solid.
