Went to collect the M3 from a very lengthy diff job to find that the owner went out to test the car and the bonnet opened on him... It was presumably left open by some customer who probably wanted to see the engine. He says he didn't touch the bonnet and I don't see any reason why he would. So goodbye front windscreen and see you later bonnet. Obviously they are going to fix it and I have no hard feelings towards them for it because I'm not a woman. But I'm getting so put off by that car it's unreal. The fuel line burst before he took the car out covering the workshop in petrol. And the diff flange is still sliding out. This is actually an issue we could write a whole book about because after 4 days of measuring every single thing in the rear axle, replacing half shafts and flanges with different ones, swapping them over we know absolutely nothing about the cause of this problem. The diff was dismantled, measured only to find it's pretty much brand new and there's not a single thing wrong with it.

Once they bed in they're fine. But they take absolutely ages to run in since the rotors are very rough. I've even thought of some sort of lathe attachment to be able to run the brakes in before they are installed on bikes. So yeah, good brake with nice feel but better run them with a different rotor unless you have a lot of patience.

Immobiliser? Coil? Some sort of relay? About the E36 I'd have to agree that they're really nice cars in many respects. Although the interior is really cramped, personally I'd go for a lighter interior like the one Jardo has since it's going to feel nicer. Also don't go around looking for leather seats, they're overrated. The 6pot engines all have very similar fuel consumption, the 2.0L engine being the worst choice since it doesn't have that much more power than a 318is but gobbles up a lot more fuel. The 328 would be a good choice since it's a really quick car and also pulls like a train in low revs. Actually the engine is optimised for low/mid range torque.

New shifter time Doubt this will ever break again. 30 quid for that. Got to love cheap labour.

On that basis, you have a 50% chance of winning the lottery. That's warped logic. I was never good with probabilities, but the answer you've given is the answer to a different question I can't precisely figure out.
-
My brain... In all seriousness I don't get it. The probability of randomly being correct depends on the number of possible answers. The answers you give have nothing to do with the question.

TGS, it's all an unambitious rider like me with 10+ years of experience can do. I long all day for the rush that getting up the same wall in the same way for the millionth time gives you. It's a stunning feeling of absolutely nothing at all. The climax of indifference. An ultimate meh coming from deep inside your heart. This is why I ride trials.

Nice looking bike there. However, every time I hear the name Breath, I somehow associate it with bad breath.

Let's not go there.

I think it's about how many middlemen there are in the process and the fact that anything with an Inspired logo is going to be 2x more expensive than something that doesn't have it no matter if it's OEM or not. You're right that a Triton costs the same as an Inspired but you buy it directly from the factory. With an Inspired it first has to be made by a factory in Taiwan, then shipped to Inspired in the UK and then shipped out to your dealer. So that's 2 more people that have to get their cut + 3 shipping companies. If you had a Triton dealer wherever you live I can bet you would NOT be able to buy it in the same price as from Russia. Taxes, shipping and profit included, you'd be lucky to pay only double what a Fourplay costs. Personally I don't understand why Inspired frames are so expensive but at least they do a good job which justifies the price as opposed to some other brands whose frames just snap.

I think I understand why you find it funny. But it's a New Yorker type of comedy that's far to sophisticated for my brain.

Is your steering tight? Usually no need to work so hard on the wheel.
-
Don't, it could make your sex really unpleasant.

If talent = having trials "in your genes" then no. If by talent you mean a set of predispositions like quick muscle memory, lack of fear and perseverance then yes. ha, beat me to it.

Has this been posted in here yet? Both walked away with nothing more than bruises.

Good riding there but not putting a single clip of interest within the first minute or so put me off a bit.

Yeah, same story here. It just means you're really comfortable with each other. You need to get out once in a while though, just maybe not as frequently as when you were dating. -
How are you getting on with yours? By the sound of things rather well?

Indeed, but on that basis one can just f**k a pillow or whatever people use to simulate lady parts. It's the need to fantasize about someone else that's making me feel awkward. f**k me, am I really the only one here with such a problem? Nobody? Never? -

Sexually not my type but I can't put a finger on what's wrong. In other respects she's absolutely epic and I can't help thinking this is it, which is even more depressing considering this problem will sooner or later lead to a major f**kup on my behalf. Had the performance anxiety issue you're talking about initially but that went away after a couple of weeks once we felt comfortable with each other. We are spicing things up let's say, she's in for all sorts of games and I'm glad she's so open about this but that still doesn't solve the initial issue which I think is related more to me than her, it just makes for better sex. However, the moment I bring this up with her there's going to be a problem because I'm terrible at wording things politely. Which is kind of where this thread helps from my experience... -

Odd post alert. Has anyone had problems erm... climaxing with your gf? Mine is definitely not my type and it's getting kind of annoying when I have to think about something else and not just appreciate the view ahead. It's not like she's bad either, actually she's pretty darn good in that respect, it's just not working. For the first time ever I think I'd be inclined to cheat on my gf if such a possibility arose, wouldn't actively start searching for someone to do it with though. -
Thinking about blowing all my savings on this baby, owner's well known on the S2000 forums: Really shouldn't but they are such amazing cars to drive... thank god winter is coming, might help me keep the money in my account. Must... resist...
