The Virus sends itself as an attachment to all your contacts, or several of them - even if you're not online... My girlfriends brother has banned her from the computer because of this virus, as he knows nothing about computers he doesn't realise MSN doesn't get them it's all the porn sites he goes on that does. For example my g/f had hahahaha.pif sent to her by her mate and she accepted it as she knows sod all about file extensions, well she didnt until then, so you don't have to be thick to get hit by it... Social Engineering - getting someone to do something for you, so you don't have to - e.g. they open a file for you, so you don't have to program the file to open. I dont back down on the fact that in this day and age people need to get educated on such basics - and if they dont, they deserve to learn that the hard way. With a little bit of basic computer education a lot of spyware and virii wouldnt be a problem because the user would see how obvious it is.
