  1. Dunno man, seems pretty accidental.
  2. I did too but the lever used to pull in loads. Apparently the newer two-piece caliper is to blame.
  3. You can get a headset out with a long screwdriver and a hammer.
  4. YOu didn't mention if you undid the TPA or not, that affects it.
  5. Emails are different, you can see it says that before you send one.
  6. Vimeo has a free service... Their videos seem better quality and there is less fuss about copyrighted music.
  7. PVA's water soluble, isn't it? So if it gets dead wet it'll liquify and be a mess.
  8. I tried, but I realised I was only skimming and lifting words like BMX out, so I stopped. That's why use loads of new paragraphs when I type.
  9. THAT, is a brick of text.
  10. Your generation of teenagers. It's not absolute, there's gonna be some decent ones but from my perspective the amount of dickheads to decent kids there are is a lot worse than my generation. The cause is parents who buy their kid's silence.
  11. Lol, a token piece of body kit on the front.
  12. Glad I'm not the only one to nOtice... Kids these days are right dicks.
  13. Clearly I didn't read the thread... It looks like a logo for sports kit to me.

    Hail.

Hope you were inside. I'd hate to have those dropping on my head from miles up in the sky.

    Bears

Legend has it there used to be bears and wolves in England but we hunted them to extinction here.,
  16. Xt brake is fine. Check your frame to see if it flexes. It can be hard to notice at first. You can tell by the lever, if it feels a little soft. A booster will increase frame life by reducing flex.
  17. You don't have to bother with steel frames.
  18. The dropout gets pinched between a part of the bolt or a spacer there, and a similar spacer on the other side, an axle spacer. The axle diameter matches the width of the dropout so it can't shift around up or down, the tensioner stops it moving towards the bb and the chain stops it moving away from the bb. That's how it works.
  19. You are mixing up measurements. On a mod hub the actual axle is longer than 116mm. Remember that it sticks out into the dropouts. 116 is the spacing. That's the gap between the dropouts on the frame, and the distance between the axle spacers, the bits on there too wide to go into the dropouts. In your other thread your bike bends in because you have a 110mm spacing hub, you just need to pad out the spacing with washers or snail cams. It's not broke because of that so don't buy a new hub if that's the only problem. I might add that the measurement of the actual axle is mostly irrelevant and shouldn't be an issue.
  20. What type of stuff does Xtreme Academy do?
  21. Lollos. On topic it feels nice to me. Short, and it doesn't handle a weird as other mods.
  22. A small pump, small so you don't blow the shock up in one stroke. You need it to let air out without ketting oil out, and to replace air if it needs that. Plus the pressure gauge makes dialling it a lot easier. You might get away with it if the previous owner was heavier than you. You'd probably still let oil out though.
