  1. Already got some, was looping them over the branches on some of the trees but they are a bit old and rotten so weren't filling me with confidence. Also gonna put a swing on there for the small people when I'm not using it, though knowing my daughter she'll never be off it!
  2. Knackered now but happy to have got this up
  3. Very pissed off, had to leave my mod on the shed loft whilst we had the sheep in for lambing and I've just got it down. Due to the condensation from the weather and the hundred or so sheep and lambs almost everything on the bike has corroded. Discs and all steel bolts are rusty, brake calipers, hubs where the spoke holes are, pedals and brake bodies are corroded and the brakes whilst still working well look f**ked. Pretty much turned a £350-400 bike into a £150-200 bike
  4. Never mind all that, vid required boy!
  5. Got myself a mission on this week as I've got loads of bits I've had lying about waiting to get fitted. First up will be carbon forks and hope headset on my CX bike, next is to build up my other Saint to go on the front of my 4play and then I need to swap the clutch mech off the CX to a 105 and change my sons drivetrain from 1x9 to 1x10. Also on the side project Rockhopper I've sourced some U-turn 140mm Pikes to go on which should be here for the weekend!
  6. I remember a mate of mine sticking one in his Nova (that was the predecessor to the Corsa for all you youngsters on here) and that was stupidly fast!
  7. Agreed, 87Monty wins the Car Thread

    Films!?

Eddie The Eagle was a good watch, a bit (well, very) corny but I really enjoyed it all. Definitely a feel good film!
  9. New series of Banshee on NowTV, gonna be tired for work tomorrow!
  10. I've finally succumbed and ordered two new door locks for the Golf. Got pissed off having to check whether or not the rear offside is locked/unlocked and having to lean in to rectify it all the time. Also had more than one occasion (one leading to a flat battery) where I've left my lights on because the car doesn't realise I've opened the drivers door so the reminder doesn't go off. She's also now rocking some atrocious fitting Chinese chrome wing mirror covers after the drivers side one decided it had had enough and jumped ship on the way to work a few weeks back! Also sticking a standard exhaust back on, the one I've got fitted is far too antisocial for 05:30am starts, shame really as it writes off the idea of getting something nice like Jardos scooby!
  11. So, for some reason I thought it'd be easy to source a couple of 3.6m fence posts for my pull up bar to the point I've already dug a hole for one of them. Now after ringing and emailing nearly every place I could find in the North West, being told I was too far to deliver or they only do 3m lengths, I accidentally phoned a merchants in New Mills (literally 10 mins from my house) I never knew existed who not only have them in stock but they're the cheapest I've found and will happily deliver for a tenner. Was almost ready to propose to the woman on the phone, she is my new hero!
  12. Nope, far too sensible. Like I said though the half time entertainment made up for it though!
  13. New scoring system was way better than before, took it right to the wire and was interesting as the public vote was almost completely opposite to the judges! Very disappointed at the lack of weirdos this year though the hosts act before the votes were in was quality. I agree though, Ukraine???
  14. Eurovision baby! Are you tuned in @JD™?
  15. There's something wrong with your setup then.
  16. Big job on next weekend hopefully, got some 3.6m fence posts and just ordered a 5ft length of steel tube to make a pull up bar at home.
  17. As seen in the Happy Thread http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-36275062
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-36275062 Oh yes
  19. What rim and how fresh is the grind? I've found with heatsinks in the past that they're not super amazing on things like Trialtech rims and need regular grinds whereas with echo rims they seem to bed with the grind and work brilliantly.
  20. As a non smoker I may be behind with the discovery of this, but if you use an e-cig and it isn't one like this then you're doing it wrong! Almost makes me want to take up vaping...
  21. My last 2 pairs of stealth adidas lasted well over a year and that's with using them as an everyday shoe as well as for riding in. These are advertised as a cycling specific shoe as well.
  22. Can finally get these on my feet, comfy, stiff, grippy and above all else sexy as f**k!
  23. Why is it when I'm just about to go to sleep something good (Total Recall in this instance) comes on the TV?!
