  1. Well it's come to this, I'm so bored I'm going to set a poll up to decide what I should make and in what mug. I'll let the poll run till 4:30pm then stick the kettle on!
  2. If you need a mod I'd volunteer, spend literally all my time I'm at work on here anyways and days like this when there's nowt going on I could do with something to keep me busy!
  3. Well the weight doesn't really worry me too much as it's only 20g heavier than trialtechs and even with them being so much more than the Urbans I'll still save weight fitting them by going to a front rim brake!
  4. I think he means because ti is harder than steel and alu if it recieves any heavy blows it's more likely to snap clean off than bend like alu and steel would. So if the disc protector keeps getting smashed into walls and rocks on failed sidehops the bolt heads will probably shear off taking the disc protector with it and leaving you trying to remove the rest of the threads somehow.
  5. Has anyone had any experience with these forks?? I'm after some new maggie mount forks and spotted these are not far off the same geo as trialtechs and around half the price but don't fancy buying them if they're not very good! Other than those I'm considering some Tryall Forxx or if all else fails sticking with some urbans again!
  6. You'll have to get another mini vid done now, just want to see the difference in how you look riding it as you looked really cramped on it before! EDIT - Would this do you http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Handlebar-stem-20-Trial-bike-spec-BASE-/310233630033?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item483b5d8551
  7. You take that pic standing on your head JD??
  8. Have you taken a look on Trashzen at some techniques for getting up stuff? Some good guides on there that would probably come in handy and they have video examples as well. Purely assuming you ride a mod I'd suggest trying to bunnyhop up them straight to rear, I find it a lot easier on both my bikes but especially my mod than half pedalling. One tip I can suggest is to lean back as you bring the front wheel up so you can spring yourself forward as you kick, go at a nice steady pace and make sure your not trying from too far away. Also one last thing which could just be me but try going up them from different sides, I often find that if I can't get up a wall or a ledge if I try doing it a few feet further down the wall it makes all the difference as you'll find yourself trying to launch up from the exact same spot all the time and if it's too far away you'll never make it up. If you keep changing position your never trying to mimic what you just did.
  9. Some quality pics there G, loving them!!
  10. Although the main thing is to keep practicing and add more pallet what technique are you using to jump up them??
  11. I wouldn't bother, take a look on ebay or in the for sale section on here for some bikes and you'll get a hell of a better spec for probably less money!
  12. No worries, was really cooking my brain with you saying they were both on at the same time!
  13. Righto, was just confuzzled by this on the site <---------
  14. How come the website says Tartydays is 28th-30th May and Woodfest is 3-5th of June?? I thought they were both happening at the same time??!!
  15. They'll be the same as what I'm running, managed to blag some old Tryall toothed cams off ali c as 20mm wasn't enough adjustment and they were the only ones bigger. And I've got a der kaiser on the rear but it had to be 'adjusted' slightly with a stanley knife to fit! I really enjoy riding the frame though, very nice in my opinion!
  16. Nice, I'm loving mine. Looks good in white as well! How did you find setting the rear wheel up and what's that tyre like for clearance??
  17. Not without a bit of filing but I don't see that as a problem
  18. If you can afford to buy new cranks as well as BB then I'd highly recommend the switch to ISIS.
  19. A bit OT I know but is there gonna be any new Trashzen T shirts coming out anytime soon or are you just selling off the old stock?? Really fancied one of the anniversary ones but my size has sold out!

    Don't think so I'm afraid!
  24. I'll stick with squealing brakes and the like, besides, my pockets are already rammed full of stuff without the need to find room for an mp3 player as well!
