  1. So many wire wool splinters, not good!!

  2. No offence gary but its new starters like you who disgust me!! Some amazing progress made in such a short time, your success on your motorbike really shows in how you've come on so fast. Hopefully meet you at a comp at some point, great vids mate!
  3. Ill give you that one, my mum lives in scotland and everyone up there is a nutjob going out in all weathers!!
  4. Got that on my sons Specialized Hardrock, bit of a pain in the ass though as you cant spin the cranks backwards to straighten them up!
  5. Sounds fair enough to me, suppose it would be helpful to some people if they used to be in trials and want to get rid of their stuff. Having to sign up and show some interest in a sport theyve given up on just to get rid of the built they no longer want would be a pain in the arse, especially when them being able to sell straight off and a new member being able to buy straight off is killing 2 birds! Good idea bout the banner though so people who do go for something can't make a complaint about new members at a later date as the risk is all their own choice. Just thought I'd better double check he hadn't slipped through the net though!
  6. Yes, pedal kick with your good foot and half pedal with your bad foot so that once you've lifted the front with your bad foot you've got your good foot in the right position to give a pedal kick.
  7. Nice pics Ross, those rocks look like a top natural spot to play on. And shorts at this time of year..........in Scotland??!!
  8. I'm afraid the, err, operation will be undertaken whilst at work on nights this week so the tools available stretches only to a grinder (with assortment of discs), dremel (which I forgot to nick of my old man today!) and a drill with hole cutter (I'll have to either borrow or buy a hole cutter). Not too fussed about immense neatness as if I do it it will be on my 07 python frame which is already a bit battered and only a toy as opposed to my 'proper' bike. Need something to do at work this week so giving the frame a little makeover ala Adam Read.
  9. Does anyone have any advice regarding cutting a slot in my headtube for example what to use to do it, how big you can go, etc....
  10. Is the sprocket old and worn down? Or has the chain been hit and squashed together slightly so its catching?
  11. I thought new members couldn't sell straight away? Theres someones first post in for sale selling their pitbull?!
  12. I apologise in advance for the lack of a lid!!
  13. Is thinking my 07 python may get stripped, cut, drilled and anodised. Fancy a change but can't afford much!!

  14. I know I know, I'm just being picky!!
  15. I'm loving the latest vid Mark, especially like the fact there's no music playing over the top it's just all natural. And I reckon the clips of the travelling thrown in work really well, I hope I meet up with you guys one day if I hear your passing nearby! Look forward to the next blog
  16. Good to here you got it sorted dude, and for free as well!
  17. I always give nmc a scan as I know how frustrating it can be for some, and like it's been said before a lot of people sign up to get into trials but never bother as all there questions and knowledge either gets mocked our ignored. Everyone deserves a chance as a full member and I reckon the new system will aid this, and if some aren't suitable theres an easy way to deal with them.
  18. No mobile version, the only downfall of vimeo, will have to have a look on the laptop later (if I can get it working). Site looks really good though!
  19. Trust me I'm far from uci, I just try to push myself to get to rear rather than use my bash all the time in a (very lame) bid to improve my riding. There's a severe lack of decent riding round here so I just have to work with what's available.
  20. You'll love it, great atmosphere and get to meet loads of new riders!
  21. No worries, Ali C and Mark W even said they prefer the 2 finger 2011's to 4 finger 05's but I'd prefer the longer lever.
  22. Make sure you give it a grind if you havent already!
  23. Looking a lot better with all the little tweaks tom, noticed the members link in the grey bar wasn't right for me the other day but it's sorted now. And the redone new members seems to be doing well.
  24. TNN LGM's or heatsink yellows on a grind for me!
