  1. Not 100% sure if I'm right but I think its when you go up to front on something and then kind of roll your wheel forward to transfer to rear without using your brake.
  2. I hope it's not the lever I sold you!! I'll fill in for Matt though - hydraulics for suckers, V is the greatest!!!!
  3. Just watched, it was short but most definately worth it!
  4. That is amazing, I wish I had half the space and pallets you've got there!!
  5. Just open it up so it can empty the water out and give it a blast with thin oil/gt85/wd40. If you can be bothered that is, I know it wouldn't be high on my list of jobs I could be arsed doing!
  6. This, just thinking about my eldest son truly enjoying something or when he talks about something we did gets me. Tops my list by a mile
  7. If they're a decent quality and the right price definately!
  8. Got it Sky+'d for viewing after work tonight!
  9. Sounds good, has come in useful for me in the past when I've been looking up geo for some of the older zoo and echo frames. Would be good to see it have a refresh and hopefully get people back into adding to and editing it. Stuff like Muels how to guide for making a disc brake mount was a good idea, could do with people making step by step guides to things like custom tensioners, which tyres are worth modifying, frame mods, etc...
  10. A decent budget for a good starter bike that will last a long time, be worth upgrading and also relatively easy to sell should you change your mind would be £200-300 in my mind.
  11. http://wiki.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php/Main_Page Tom's been promising a link on the main page for months but I'm still waiting for it to appear, still comes in handy for a few odd bits!
  12. Few clips I managed to salvage from the other day, the ridings a bit ropey though but I'll put that down to not riding for quite a while and the wind!!
  13. Thought as much, I had a pair of Inspired lock ons but found due to my newb death grip at the time they just spun round when I half pedalled stuff, though that could be down to the fact I didn't dare overtighten them for fear of snapping or rounding off the small bolts!
  14. Nah got a stiky on the back and CC on the front

    Get2

Just watched this at work for about the 100th time, can't get over how skillful the riders are, even the lads are only in 1 or 2 shots! Really inspires me and makes me wish I could get out more and there was more stuff local to me that would help improve my riding. Out of interest who actually put it together as there seems such a widespread bunch of lads shown and varied locations? And will there be a Get3? (in HD of course!)
  16. If you've had a good experience with a BB5 and bad with a 7 then go for the BB5. If you find it's not quite up to scratch it should be relatively easy to sell on and go for a hope.
  17. Well if it's dirt jumping your after then your in completely the wrong place I'm afraid! If however you want to modify the bike to do some street trials then it'd be a different matter, and if your son has sacked you off cause your too uncool I highly recommend joing the other later in life trialsers that have suddenly sprung up onto the forum and show your son up!
  18. Re-enact the film with Jason Statham, was absolute pap though that could be down to his acting skills As the forum is also not very interesting tonight I've rigged the lever frame up with a broom stale as a makeshift inverted row machine so my back will be huge by the time I finish tonight. Everyone should want this job, it's amazing.
  19. Possibly the most random post I've read in a long time! You'll have to provide a bit more info like how long you've been riding (sorry if you've covered that in another thread!) and what do you plan on doing with the bike? Are you going to buy a trials specific bike at any point in the future or are you just trying to see if you'd be any good and if it'd be worth it??
  20. Very nice, just out of interest did you go for those grips for the colour or as they're similar pattern to motorbike grips? I had them on both my mod and stock for both reasons but recently swapped to some Rockman foam grips and cannot recommend the change highly enough!
  21. Doesn't do anything for me at all which is weird as I love that frame having nearly bought one myself!

    Films!?

If anyone ever recommends watching Revolver to you punch them in the throat for being a c**t. Thats what I shall be doing when I see my so called "mate". Utter toss
  23. You may want to disregard my vote however, I have never used either tyre. I only posted as part of my mission to be todays top poster, just something to keep me going at work before I watch Revolver and then go home.
  24. They ain't open Saturdays I'm afraid but may as well hang on till Monday to order anyway as that other place probably won't get them in the post till next week and Tarty service is top notch so they'd probably come next day!
