had this a few times and its f**king awful!, all i could do was see and hear, couldn't blink make any noise no control over your breathing pattern (was panicking in my head like a panic attack) all while feeling like i was being sucked down rather than sat on. having a lack of control over anything makes you mega paranoid...the daemon or old hag sat on you is supposedly a way of your brain trying to rationalize whats going on through a hallucination iirc. i only read up on it after having it, something to do with the way you wake up like your brain is awake and all your body/motor functions are banging zzzzz out still or something along those lines

Internal headset? Had same (just not as epic) noise with the breath frame I had (int. h/s) and was the bottom cup/frame contact area to blame, cleaned and smear of grease sorted it out.

So a dd mod is going to happen this time, is the long incarnation unsure of the geo other than it has 360cs and 615 reach (crude tape measure method) so I'm expecting a 1025 wb with a 45 bb iirc...uf anyone knows the accurate numbers that would be sweet if you could chime in with it Currently stands me at just under a ton, including some echo forks and Tt bars (paid for today so not pictured, cheers Connor fitch ) frame came from UKhippy *insert good seller props here* as did the tyres and the Tt rim. Tried swapping the clamps to the other way round? (left one onto the right side of the stem and vice versa) sometimes stupid stuff like that works, worth a bash if you haven't had a go.

Yeah I get the shiny, gloss if you want to be anal about it haha. I imagined it was down to tiny bits of the ano 'wearing' in the areas in contact and the sound tiny bits of it being crushed then transmitted through parts loaded with conpession/tension giving that annoying tick sound. I doubt you could tighten an m5 bolt enough to cause alu bars to fail without it snapping/stripping. I used 1200 just as I had it to hand, anything finer than 600 will do the job. I was dubious of the design of the k2 when I first saw that (especially for carbons) but I'm sure plenty of people have and had no issues of compatibility. Never had problems with the carbons I had, went for the tighten it 'till you pull a stupid face approach albeit in a different stem and they served me well.

Used to have a clicky/ticky with Tt bars in a Tt stem, made the noise every time you'd shift weight forwards or backwards...clean everything and it would go away for 20min or so and start again, rubbing the ano off the contact area of the stem with some fine grit wet and dry eventually sorted mine. When my bars slipped ages ago they made a horrid noise like they'd broke (tiny scuff was all the damage) 5nm isn't very tight at all I certainly do mine up more than that, tighten it until it feels right (what I do and its been a long while since I snapped/rounded/threaded any bolts). If your bars are slipping first thing I'd try is tightening a bit more (1/4 turn at a time) and see how it fairs with that, disclaimers are there for apes that swing on bolts...

20 mins after getting some tools out sisters motorbike lumbered into life after being stood for 7 years...a tad disappointed it wasn't more of a slag about it haha

I suspect that it would be handled globally in much the same way as Syria, if it did decend into a horror show some sort of western intervention would be inevitable America doesn't need a good reason to blow shit up. Wasn't there a similar topic a while back? Sure it was jakes because mod...was that not due to a cracked cs, had a look for any? Or serrated washers either side of the dropouts might fix it, if it's just a case of hub slippage in the dropouts. I've noticed dropouts aren't perfectly square, so if you tighen one side up with the opposite bolt spun way out you can end up with a wonky wheel, even after you set it up straight with cams.
