I clicked your name and under Contact Information it shows an emai, not sure if this is something you added though.
  2. Been a while since I messed about with computer stuff but I'm pretty sure 300W is nowhere near enough to run a modern computer. Silly me forgot what a UPS is.... A UPS is NOT meant to keep your computer running for very long, 30 sec sounds like a good UPS as the purpose of a UPS is to give you enough time to safely save what you're doing.
  3. How the fudge did I not think of that! I'm not even going to edit my post, I deserve to be laughed at...
  4. I fitted mine on april the 17th this year and they still have a lot of life left. I have a dead grind on the rear and an "un-ground(?)" front rim and they seem to have worn about the same.
  5. Should be safe as long as you dont over do it. I got my tt foams off like that but then I went straight back to lock on grips.
  6. Its easy. Just take a screwdriver or something plastic if you dont want to scratch the bars, stick it in under the grip to about half way, pour some of it in then just move the screwdriver around the bars untill you can pull the grip off.
  7. The stuff you use to wash the dishes.
  8. Kid's bikes are shorter and smaller and might have smaller wheels, but since your son is 11 I think you would be better off with a "real" 20" bike as it will have more room for him when he gets taller. And as Brad said, any of the 20" onza bikes will be good to start off with. If you think your son is actully going to commit to trials, get him one of the more expensive onzas as they will last longer as he gets better, but if you think he just wants to try it out i would say go for a cheaper one, as trials bikes usually have a pretty low second hand value.
  9. Have you tried a 26" trials bike before? I went from a mod to a stock and I think the stock is a lot easier and comfortable to ride. It was an easy transition though so you dont have to to worry about learning everything again.
  10. Are you trying to close it? If so, just losen the screws a bit on each side switching from one to the other should work.
  11. I changed from TR to the 2011 HS11 and the HS11 feels a lot quicker, like if I pull the lever the pads move quicker. I think the TR is only 2 fingers so it would be unfair to compare the power with my 4 finger HS11. Like Ash said, the TPA moves after a while altough it was 10x quicker to unwind itself on my TR disk brake than the rim brake.
  12. Im boring I dont drink, smoke or do any drugs. People always ask why I dont, I always say why would I.
  13. Water should do the trick, dont add any fancy stuff though as it may form a surface on the rim
  14. Try to brush the rim off after you grind it or get some compressed air and blow all the metal flakes off
  15. Nice riding and nice setup man, that bail at 2:20 could have been a real parenting career ender though! Only thing I didnt like was the music, but having weird music in the vids seem to be the norm now so I guess I have to get used to it.
  16. Why would you remove the protector or the tape though?
  17. You could try some of this: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/other_frame_spares/bbb_tube_skin/c127p11597.html Just put a bit of that the same size as your downtube protection on the frame.
  18. First off, I am useless at pedal-ups! But the ideal distance would be just enough so you can pedal half a revolution, since that is what a pedal-up is.
  19. Make a net of white LED's and cover the entire ceiling?
  20. My wheels never stay true for more then a couple of rides, but as soon as they start to get loose I noitice it! When I pedal hard the wheel turns (probably sound stupid but I cant think of a better way of puting it) so the rim touches the pad on one side, making it harder to pedal. So the more power I put into a move the less power I actually get out of the bike, if that makes any sense. Normal rolling around and doing rolling moves is not as much of a problem.
  21. I have never competed but since it would be for beginners I cant imagine there being anything you cant simply roll over
  22. Try doing some stretches and eat more!
  23. Thats more like it, thanks!
  24. I dont know what food and possibly a hotel costs in the UK.
