  1. Hey guys! I just wanted to show you what I got in the mail yesterday, and a quick update of my bike: Before: Getting some expert help: Done!: I still havent decided if I should grind the front rim or keep it smooth as I am planing on getting a new rear rim. Also need a non disk hub at the front. The front end feels a bit high, is it safe to just cut the steer tube or do I have to do it some special way since theres threads in there? Thanks for looking! Kevin Edit! I forgot to say thanks to Tartybikes and Adam for helping me!
  2. Nice vid man! I'd love to go to england to ride with all of you on here! If everything goes to plan I just might..
  3. I have a 59 mm wide tyre on my 2012 zoo piranha and still have quite a bit of space on both sides so a 64 or so should fit. I havent tried anything like that though, so please dont take my word for it! If you do get a big tyre in there, let me know as I am thinking of getting a DK or one of the new DK ramstein projects
  4. I've seen Julien Dupont do something like this before. Ugh! no.. embed... have.. to.. click.. link!!
  5. Drill holes in the bottom of loger screws? Dont do it on short ones though as it may ruin the durability!
  6. This will sound silly, but I'm not sure I know what arm pump is hah! That being said, are you sleeping enough? If you are going to the gym and do bodybuilding type routines, you will be destroying the muscle fibres and you have to give the body lots of sleep to rebuild it. I work out at the gym for a few hours every day and I go to bed at around 10 pm (9 pm UK time) and I get up at 6 am. So try sleeping more! Kevin.
  7. Another amazing day of riding done! You know you had a good ride when you can barely walk after all the crashes and stuff! Sorry for spamming this but I'm just so happy I can finally ride properly!
  8. Just got back from the first proper ride since october 2012! A solid 5 hours on the bike down by the docks watching the sun set felt soo good after all this time! I even managed to try some new moves!
  9. I think torx is supperior to allen when it comes to durability. Might be down to your tools as you said though, I bought a 10 piece allen set for just over 50 euros and I have never looked back! Dont cheap out on tools!
  10. I think the Vitamin String Quartet makes some good covers of popular songs and bands, I would really recomend checking out their Rise Against stuff. And I think Explosions In The Sky could be something for you.
  11. I've tried cleaning it with acetone, thinner and I think I used Isopropyl alcohol and also the stuff you wash the dishes with. As for oils I have no idea? I havent changed anything so it should be the oil the echo tr brakes come with.
  12. Yeah I was thinking air pollution might be to blame. I just chuck the bike in the back as I have a big car though.
  13. I've already tried cleaning the pads and rotor. This is what whats been going on: first it was echo tr complete brake with an echo rotor, then I cleaned the pads and rotor the way you said, sam, then I changed the rotor to the onza one, that didnt work either, so I changed the brake as well, that worked quite well but after todays ride it started to feel contaminated again. Is there any way of getting the brake contaminated by simply pumping it, as in braking, releasing and breaking again while rolling? I dont remember having any problems with the brake when I was still riding the onza.
  14. Hello. I have had some problems with my front echo tr disk brake getting contaminated all the time, I thought it might be leaking or something, but after changing to an old onza cable disk from my old 2010 blade I have now managed to get that one contaminated as well! What am I doing wrong? I'm not touching the pads or disk with greasy hands and I havent used the onza brake in wet weather yet. Any help much appreciated! Kevin.
  15. Yes I think most of the people here would recomend it.
  16. I feel like I can go a lot bigger on my stock than I could on my mods, but that might be down to the simple fact that I have a lot more experience now.
  17. If I was buying a laptop for gaming I would go for an ASUS as they tend to lean more towards preformance over design. Stay away from stuff like Sony or Samsung. I'll have a quick search and see if I cant find anything. EDIT I dont know how ebay works but this might be something for you: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alienware-M11X-Gaming-Laptop-With-Logitech-MX518-Gaming-Mouse-/121073158821?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item1c3085caa5 Seems to be running out of time though so best hurry.
  18. Sorry to say this but a company that specialize in data recovery is pretty much your only option. At least the only safe option, if it wasnt important stuff on there I guess you could just move the plates to a working HDD but that would be risky. Good luck man! Kevin
  19. Bou is the man! I remember watching some SPEA final a while ago and all the top riders failed the last bit of the course (rocks in some big pool with some pretty sick gaps) and then it was Bou's turn and he just flew trough it in 20 seconds! EDIT! Found the clip! Fujinami's run: Bou showing how it should be done:
  20. I just found this while watching some of Borisevich Pavel's vids: May be a repost but that guy is just insane!
  21. I dont think they make them with the slide out anymore as full touch is far more desirable by most.
  22. Any chance an echo tr piston would fit? Tartybikes sell them altough they are out of stock right now. I had a quick google and couldnt find anyone selling them.
  23. So clean the pads with water and then boil them? Do I need to do anything witht the rotor? Thanks for the quick replys!
  24. Hello guys! Just wanted to show you this: Any ideas what might be causing it and how to get rid of it? Is the brake contaminated? Thanks for any help! Kevin.
