Car looks pretty sweet to be honest bird - that is an awful lot of car for the money.

To go to all that trouble and then not keep the same set of wheels in was a bit of a fail. Was interesting, enjoyed it.

I would guess is the only important thing is to light the green screen so it is completely flat with no shadows on it. Or at least so its even around what you want to chop out ? So I guess light your subject to fit with the new background and essentially blitz the background separately with a cfl or summut ?

Ive seen it before, it just seems a bit self indulgent. Its exactly the kinda film i expect someone to make if they had just been given a RED and told to go play. lots of high frame rate and beautiful scenery.

kinda feel like rich has had his account hacked. loved it all (up loud on the 40" is the way to watch fo sho) when Ali goes fast all kinds of awesome happens. And even though some of Ali's lines had me peeing my pants my favourite bit of the whole film was Mark going over Port 2490 ... just sums it all up for me.

I don't really understand the benefits in that case, the hub is either engaging or it isn't ? The way I understood the king engages means unless its skipping a tooth or two which you would know about means there isn't really any other benefit other than noise ?
-
Wouldn't it be better if people stopped trying to needlessly modify one of the best and the most expensive rear hubs on the market ?
-
haha, the prize is awesome.

thats what marino thought?

Dull video was dull.

I think you summed it up best when you say current f1 driver di resta beat him in f3. In 2010 he again scraped it in front of alonso with a superior car. The 2011 car was so much better than the rest that he just had to beat webber, who was pretty down on not winning 2010 and also has never ever been the quickest guy in f1 (see 2010 - 4th with the best car) and also was set up as a support act for vettel. I'm not saying he is shit but to be honest he has not really done anything out of the ordinary given the car at his disposal. If he wants to be recognised as a great unfortunately he needs the other teams to step up a level and still win by a margin

Man in clearly better car scrapes victory by 3 points. Alonso was just better all year, Vettel was only saved by Redbull development. Edit - on that race though vettels recovery was amazing.

riding over a car doing a burnout is cool.

The red sporting driver was awesome.

Aren't they conveying exactly the same amount of data? 1080i just gives you 50 half frames instead of 25 full ones ? Better motion smoothness but a worse image quality.
-
erm, no ? I think you may find it is far more difficult to fail one than pass one.

where the balls did you find a second hand skye ?

Well my fave vid didn't make the top three And Im certainly surprised by the novice results. Not in a bad way - the winning vid was great just not what I expected to win ! Great comp, and great effort by everyone.

it seems to be a personal vendetta to bring down Armstrong at all costs. The whole thing is a farce. Whether he took drugs or not doesn't seem to be important to me, the fact that USDA seem to have bribed their way to testimonies and gone back further in time than they should, to take down what was a shining light in cycling at a time of pretty terrible cheating has just shat on road cycling in general. To someone not part of cycling - how can they trust any achievement from now on, wiggins ? cav ? Its all shot to shit. Personally I think the first couple of tours - sure he took a shit load of drugs, and later on less to none (the rules have some room it seems on some levels of hormones that you can enhance yourself with). But so did everyone else, leaving some guy in 11th to take the official tour de france title for one year. Armstrongs achievement was incredible, and has done amazing things for charity. He also banged sheryl crow. To shoot him down years after the event with fairly poor evidence is just no good for anyone. Also - His federal case was dropped against him after two years of investigation by the fbi, but somehow USADA handing out shorter bans to ex team mates in return for testimony is enough to convict ? Go figure. The real verdict comes when his team boss' federal case verdict comes up Read up on microdosing epo... I would doubt its just road riders doing it - something that gives a clear advantage and cant be tested for ? Also a little off topic but interesting - read up on Usain Bolts 'coach' and Yohan Blake (who has failed a drugs test in the past - who knew)

good info - cheers. yeah - I was worried about big vice work and bushes, its not something I really have access to. I guess Ill wait until my dad gets me his quotes - its a bit of a knackered 200k car, so he doesn't really want to spend too much on it, but my current situation means that 4 hours would probably be too much. I also hadn't figured in alignment.

ok cool, cheers, I may agree to do it with him then ! Ill try and find out what he was quoted.

Ok so seat Leon owners/buffs. My dad has a 52 ish Leon with the following issues - just wondered if anyone knew off hand how difficult/ time consuming the the fix would be for each bit. I've done a few bits n bobs on cars before including cambelt change on my old s40, just not sure about suspension. N/S/F Outer track rod excess play N/S/R coil spring broken - 2 Red/2 Silver (whatever that means) Front lower wishbone bushes poor

pins for programming. That's the whole point of the pi. The wee android thingmy is just a computer (made for profit I might add) and just a bit less interesting to me.

I have to say that my gyro that I had was great. I actually found it way better for learning whips and the like. Until the seals all died after a week and shit out fluid everywhere. If hydro gyros were designed with a little more thought/care they would be pretty darn awesome.
