  1. I know that I'm not a very good rider and am also aware of the fact that weight isn't all but I love building up beautiful (and light) bikes even though all my bikes I've had so far outperform my riding skills by far (not only trials bikes).
  2. Seems pretty easy. I wonder if you'd get even further with more concentration.
  3. Well... I think that the Der Kaiser is one (if not the most) pinch resistant tyre, isn't it?
  4. Got the Der Kaiser Rammstein and it surprisingly fits much better than the Trail King. Just one question. What inner tube would you guys recommend. The Der Kaiser is rather heavy so I'm tempted to put in a Schwalbe XX-Lite inner tube to at least have 100gr. less.
  5. Ok. As a replacement get the magura steel one.
  6. You bled your brake, right? Are the threads of the lever body gone or is the bleed screw f**ked up? In any case, there's not much to disassemble. Just get two torx screwdrivers (I think it's T25) and take out the lever bolt. The rest is self-explanatory.
  7. Good thing that I've just recently started to learn those gaps. Have been riding for 1 3/4 years.
  8. It's a M8x0.75 bolt. Any standard M8 bolt won't fit.
  9. I haven't with the Trialtech one. That's why I wouldn't bother.
  10. So I should go closer to the edge and squat more?
  11. Well I went out today again to try and learn it but I think I jump off way too far from the edge. I don't know why but when I go nearer to the edge, my wheel drops down instead of jumping far. http://mtbn.ws/vva0
  12. Yeah! But what I'm surprised about is that you actually jump off the top of the edge and don't really push from the front of the edge or at least this is what it looks like. edit: Found out today that if you find a small edge to jump off from, you always get the position right as there's not enough space to be too far from the edge. Takes away one issue.
  13. What's that brake booster thingy do on the forks?
  14. I am also trying to master this technique. Is this somewhat acceptable? http://videos-static-1.mtb-news.de/videos/8/0/7/7/2/1/_/video/08.03.15_79e546_5421cc-h.m4v
  15. Get Dynamics Carbone Paste. Better than the finish line I think.
  16. Had the same problem with my Try All Carbon forks. You have two options*. Get the Tensile clamps off Tarty or get a 32mm rim. Kabra has those w/ 32 holes. I went for the rim as the Tensile clamps don't seem to have a very good reputation. *Well, actually three. You can also trim the pads.

    magura workers

Drop and Roll guys will be running Magura brakes.
  18. Little bump here. What if it's a GU frame with a pre-installed BB? I have some Try All cranks that hit the chain stay on both sides when tightened, don't even have to put stress on it. Only crank that fits would be an Echo and I can't find a TR in 175mm.
  19. So true! I work at Dell and for Q1FY16 we had to communicate a price increase as we also buy in Dollar and the Euro is weak atm. Funny thing is that HP and all the other competition have the same problem.
  20. I almost crapped my pants by just watching this! Kinda feel ridiculous fearing drops of 1.30m.
  21. This doesn't make sense. I know what spoiled means and was trying to say that the Rubber Queen isn't really pinch resistant.
  22. Conti MacAskill. The rubber queen doesn't really spoil does it?
