  1. It's amazing how life can change out of all recognition in the space of a year, so whatever those ideas are, f'ken run with them.
  2. Finally got round to doing my theory test and CBT again (did them in 2012 but they expired), got my module 1 test next week. Might actually end up being able to ride a bike in this country soon...
  3. Always wondered why I see modified hatchbacks on the motorway crawling along at <60mph...
  4. Lol yeah we've seen your 'life'...
  5. I confused about the bit where everyone is in the shower. Mike just find a new niche and try again.
  6. Turns out the full film more than lives up to it's name. Not sure what's more impressive, the riding or the filming.
  7. You just reminded me that I bought the full film before going to France and forgot to watch it while I was there : )
  8. Been riding Morzine/Chatel/Les Gets for the last week... utter insanity. My Zesty put up with a fair bit of stick but I want something a little beefier to go back with. Had a couple of fairly minor crashes but otherwise awesome fun.
  9. Come back and tell us about it when it's survived 6 months of decent standard trials riding.
  10. Arrange to meet them all at the same place, same time. Best way for a fair comparison. Then stand back and wait for the tumbling mass of confused but sex-starved teenage meat to come spilling over the horizon on a river of vaginal discharge. Then just hook out the ones you like as they go by.
  11. Picking up pensioners in village pub toilets is clearly not cutting the mustard anymore. However at least you have the memories. You'll always have the memories.
  12. For the love of god, someone invent brakes that don't make that awful noise...
  13. What is the obsession with modifying cars only to take them to supermarkets at night? Never got that.
  14. Two minutes into a ten minute video before really seeing any riding, not my thing. I appreciate if it's just meant to be some kind of production showcase, but if it was intended as a riding video then yeah, too slow. +1 on Leon's kicker comment too...
  15. Fair point actually, and he did have the opportunity to inspect it before making the purchase.
  16. It would be unusual for a factory graphic to be put over the frame number, surely? My guess is the bike was already stolen and the number ground off, and the guy is one of those idiots who can't discuss a problem in a civil manner. If I was you I'd find the cash and give it back, more trouble than it's worth otherwise.
  17. Which is why those retards adding a 'tuck' on a 30" sidehop just ended up making themselves look like contorted spastics.
  18. Second one is killer, really great composition.
  19. I was pissed off because in my last year the slow bicycle race was cancelled, and it was only last year pupils that were allowed to do it : (
  20. Thanks for the advice. I bought a Minion DHF for the front and a High Roller II for the rear, both dual ply. I'm not very experienced at this kind of riding so it won't make that much difference, but still I guess it's worth having decent grip and puncture resistance anyway.
  21. Overuse of the word "literally". It probably accounts for 40% of all word usage by British under 20 year olds.
  22. I'm looking for some tyres for my LaPierre Zesty (26") to take to Morzine later this month. Thinking of Maxxis, but there are lots of options... Compound... No idea where to start Size... 2.35 is big enough, don't want giant tyres Tread... High Roller or Minion? I think I had both on my trials bike but I don't remember the difference Single or dual ply... Are single ply lighter? Any advice welcomed!
  23. Well it wasn't broken before you 'fixed' it...
