  1. No you may be right, I thought the Limey 2 was the original in my mind; so you could very well be right. I can't even find a photo of an original Limey to compare.
  2. Definitely not a Limey, had CNC yokes if i remember rightly. Could be a Bionic
  3. That's a real shame about the Scorpio owner, they had some lovely frames being developed. Nice to know the designs are being used, the frame looks really sweet, hopefully they'll release a 20".
  4. Looks lovely, didn't realise you could buy a frame only from Crewkerz, it's been on my short list for a new frame for a while. How much was it?
  5. Didn't Crossbow try to do something similar not so long ago and then switched to normal frames as they couldn't get it to work?
  6. The problem with eccentric dropouts is that they change the geometry as you tighten the chain. I think through axle rear ends and small sprung tensioners like Crewkerz and Clean use is the way forwards. Stiffer rear end, less faffing with brake set up etc. I think through axle 135 or 142 rear ends would be a sensible standard to adopt for both mod and stock bikes, i don't see why 20" bikes have such narrow rear ends; surely a common size between mod and stock would make things easier for manufacturers and the end user?
  7. You could try some EBC red pads, they're supposed to be quite good.
  8. Sorry Josh, that's properly shit, hope you're as well as can be expected? Get yourself down to Plymouth lad x
  9. I have my old Hydroxx 26" frame hung up in my garage, loved that bike. Rode so nicely, light and stiff. Shame the down tube cracked. Had a 20" dual disc Hydroxx for a short while too, should have kept that.
  10. He's obviously grounded the ball, I don't see what they're arguing about? It's a bit like the stick they gave Robinson after his celebration for bowling Khawaja out, have they forgotten the previous 30 years and the abuse their players used to dish out?!
  11. I've got a set of hope trials for sale if you want a different brake?

    Films!?

I've watched Sisu and Renfield recently, both a bit silly and filled with excessive violence, but both we're kinda fun too. The new Evil Dead movie was pretty good too
  13. Spent Sunday replacing the auxiliary water pump and hoses on the S4 as i had a coolant leak and could see residue near the pump, why Audi put it under the inlet manifold in the v of the engine i'll never know. Lots of scraped knuckles later and it was in the old pump came out in 2 pieces, so was definitely dead. Bled the coolant system and took it for a quick spin. Still have a leak at the front of the engine 🙃 not that you can really see anything without removing the front bumper and rad pack. Also had to chuck a couple new PS4s on the rear as i'd picked up a screw This car is looking to break me morally and financially! Still love it mind
  14. Charlie is ridiculous, just looks so comfortable on the bike, so much control and power for days!
  15. I think it's a wall hanger at this point.
  16. I'd be very surprised if you could fix this, can see the manufacturer arguing it's been over-tightened too sadly. I certainly wouldn't run it as it is!
  17. Shiiiit, that's really not good, some school boy error stuff there! Surely it's his responsibility to cover any difference in repair/replacement costs that his insurer will pay out for and not yours? Is it registered as a camper/ converted van and not a commercial vehicle?
  18. Mine have been similar, sometimes feel solid and nice, other times they'll put nearly to the bar. Initially i thought it was the bleed, but i've had several people bleed it including myself and no change. I then noticed that my poorly manufactured frame had a slightly misaligned caliper mount; I physically can't mount the caliper parallel to the disc rotor. I was considering a new frame, with the hope the mount wouldn't allow the brake to be perfectly aligned. But this makes me think the brake could be the issue!

Sweet lil video that, rocks are awesome How are you finding dual disc? Tan wall looks all good and if it works that's all that matters right?
  20. Maestro Pro C or X carbon bike, they do a 20" and a 26" (as ridden by Andrei in that video). They're incredibly difficult to get hold of! The tri-lite facebook page has a bit more info.
  21. Such a shame that Echo vanished, they were putting out what appeared to be some quality products. Be good if someone like Extension can fill the void and offer something different to the likes of Jitsie, Clean or Crewkerz. Is that a 1"1/8 headtube or tapered?
  22. http://www.extentionbicycles.com/index.php/rise-20inch-trial-bike/ Geometry – Wheelbase: 1005 – Chainstay:350 – BB rise: 80mm – Head angle: 72.5°
  23. Spotted this on the Extension website, nice to see a new 20" bike out on the market. Some good features and geo seems to fit in with the norm, be interested to see a price...
  24. That's a fairly sizeable weight saving for the cost outlay, i guess the main drawback is it's labour intensive = cost, if you can find someone to do it for you. I'll have to do some reading and look into it. I mean i've happily gone to the extent of replacing everything I can with Ti parts, so rope spokes is probably good value in comparison!
