  1. Water and mud works a treat to bed pads in, works like a light abrasive on the pads and rotor. Having ridden a few mod bikes with discs they were awesome.
  2. You know what myself and Joe wear mate, 1. What shoes do you wear when riding? Salomon Speedcross 2 2. How long would you say they last? They still look pretty damn solid after 6 months or so of abuse, can see them lasting a year. 3. Whats the ankle support like/is there any? Not a massive amount (but i'm not having any issues with them so they can't be too bad), lots of support for your heel, arch etc, almost like a running shoe/climbing shoe mix 4. Soles: grippy or not that grippy? Awesome on anything, stratodabs at comps are not at issue!
  3. Really enjoyed that, who was the chap at the end on the echo? was very good nice to have a well edited decent length video to watch too
  4. Seriously good, loving the Costaeste vids at the moment, mix of massive natural and huge street riding good stuff.
  5. The yellow pads i've been really impressed with on a dead grind, work best with a light sharp grind though.
  6. I love them, run them front and rear at the moment and can recommend them enough
  7. Oh wow, Kinetic force/energy... awesome. Mark, put me down for a pre-order on the book, its an obvious stocking filler for any one in the family Fatigue failure, thin walled tubing, stress riser at the brake mounts, snappy snappy time?
  8. If you can get one cheap second hand go for it, the use of bearings in the pivots rather than bushings and the cnc arms gives them a stiffer nicer feel. But i couldn't justify the extra cost of buying one new.
  9. Why is it the gearing that's keeping the riding to trials moves? Surely its the riders? I mean I don't think I've ever really seen Rowan try to do anything on his brake less bike (which happens to be a 26") that he doesn't do on his 26" bike with brakes. I'm guessing have a shorter more responsive bike makes it easier to get your body weight in the correct place to compensate for not having brakes. You have seen the last Stan Shaw brake less vid? Hardly BMX..... very much chalk and cheese, you might as well be comparing trials with brakes to BMX riding with brakes!
  10. Enjoyed that, sections didn't look that bad, just very different to what i've seen of Buthiers. Abel is a weapon.

Thought the frame was a BMX to start, looks lovely though, but got to agree with Luke the font end for some reason looks a little odd and really does need a smaller seat. Love the clean look of Ti frames
  12. Sweet stuff, this whole brakeless trials is intriguing yet scary too!
  13. Thats a real blow to Hip Hop, one of the originals and the best in my opinion. Listened to a lot of Gang Starr in college, awesome lyrics and amazing beats. Sad times.
  14. Dunno mate, not had any issues so far... maybe its that Rainbird character who's been doing the nicking? All you've got to watch for is the lil chav chucking stones at you from across the railway line and the snake that likes inner tubes.
  15. Nooooooo Ultimate vees front and rear
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PDl_FJ9fGQ
  17. I know in my case i've used several different rear wheels, in the same bike and the brake has worked perfectly, it just wasn't work with the Viz! rim; seems to be fine with some heatsink yellow pads at the moment.
  18. I know Andrei has just laced one up, i was curious about it as a replacement when this one dies, i'll ask him how its going.
  19. Are the apple the only handset manufacturers the only one's to give 1 year warranties on their phones? I know pretty much all the others have gone to 2 years to cover the fact that most contracts are now at least 18 months.
  20. Doesn't that level of harassment normally lead to a restraining order?!
  21. Change the tyres and that will be sweeeeeeet
  22. If you're about today/this weekend give me or Luke a shout, we'll be out and have some koxx reds you may want to try, never used them myself.
  23. Enjoyed that Rich, you do put yourself across well on camera. Looking forward to the next instalment, need to come down and ride soon please, thank you x
