Chain reaction are showing them, but no description, no picture, and no stock. They are listing a Hope Mono Mini Moto, Hope Moto M6, Hope Moto V2. Interesting that they are already being supplied as OEM fit. Do you know which model it was you saw? whats the new lever like? did it have the vented rotor? Looks like there replacing the mono range, bringing out a new lever, and the M4 is replaced with the V2- which is the proto thats been shown. Available with vented rotor. New Lever: Proto V2: Thats what it still says on the Hope web site, ive made an assumtion that the brake in the picture has now been called a V2 judging by whats listed on CRC.

go plus 20 on the back, 180 ***. I have a hope SPOT facing tool, and will happily face your frame / fork for a small charge!

Im getting worried about being old, not long now till my age will no longer have a 'teen' at the end! Nothing wrong with listening to music you used to like, i do that lol. You have to be careful, if you try and be young for too long you just look like a twat trying to be cool, worse than looking middle aged i believe, and will probably just draw peoiples attention to the fact.

I don't think its a scam, Carphone warehouse offer an insurance policy, ive got it and it does cost about that much. however i wasnt phoned up- i was offered it when i purchased the phone. And i believe it is called lifeline.

Sounds like a reasnoble bike, and if he learnt how to make a list, and take a couple of pics, then theres a chance it would get 800.

In that case, its not a Reliant Robin, which is probably what was origonally being refferend to, but most likely a reliant kitten.

Right, car playing up a little atm. Whats the easiest way to find a vacuum leak? Since my carb makes a lot of sucking noise, hard to do it by ear! Problem is i have a wandering and lumpy idle, and the engine will cut out if the brakes are used heavily (which exausts the vaccum). i will check the rubber mount to inlet manifold, and carb to manifold when i get the chance. could probably do with replaceing hoses from inlet manifold to brake servo, and the little one to the dizzy. Its always a possiblity that my inlet manifold is loose, but i don't know if i can actually tighten it up without removing the head from the engine and bay lol, bit of a stupid design! The glass also fell off one of my headlights, so time for new lights me thinks! not sure whether to go brand new hellas, or go for some crystals. Will also get a new grille as most of the light ajusters on mine are shagged. Badgeless time! Need to sort out my rust as well, need a warm dry weekend though- there getting hard to find!

Not a school one, but a uni one. thought it was worth a post as is soooo damn good.

Im at pompey uni atm. fair few locals here. Lots of riding all around, rides usually go from the guildhall, to the law courts, up the the Union, down the the seafront starting at spice island, then working along towards the pyramids via wavy benches, ruins and the pier.

Jump Bike Upgrades, Now And In The Next Few Weeks
nmt_oli replied to tank_rider's topic in Bike Pictures
I have 3 sets of buzzbars, all on different bikes! i love em to bits, and never had a problem. one set is 5 years old, used to be on my mates jump bike, then his trials bike, then my jump bike, then on my comuter bike. still going strong. -
Nowt wrong with glue, lotus elise's are glued together, not welded. I trust a good glue as much as i do a weld, especially in a carbon reinforced compostie, due to the layering.

Yeah, i know. im just trying to ge the point across that an axle need not be solid to retain strength! the central part really does very little, especially the larger you go. As a square taper axle is so thin, it beifits form being solid. An ISIS axle is twice the diameter, would just be silly if it was solid.
-
the thicker axle gives the strength, yes they are hollow to save weight. this tube structure is equally strong, if not stronger than the thin solid axle of a square taper- put a torque through a pringles tube and feel how stiff it is, now do the same with a smarties tube, as its thinner, its will twist more easily and colapse. some manufactureres are however making the walls of the axles too thin. Also lx and xt squre taper BBs have hollow axles, so a deore or lower un52/53 is better specced for trials.

Mini's are great little cars, fun and will be memorable as a first car. It is also true that there usually pretty cheap to insure, 1 or 1.3 litre engines, and in low insurance groups (with some exepctions, ie cooper, ERA turbo). If your not prepared to pay out on repairs/ do mintenance yourself (more than a more modern hatch back), it may not be worth your while however. Strictly speaking they are not anymore unreliable than other cars, if kept in good condition- which takes a bit more regular maintanance then newer cars. You also have to accept the fact that many (especially those in your price range as a first car) will be old, and likely have been neglected to a certian extent. Mechanically, if anything does go wrong its an easy fix compared to a lot of cars, but body work is where minis really fail. they have bad habit of rusting in the english climate, and that is a pain to sort out. I bought a mini as my first car at 17, couldnt get a licence till 18 (health reasons) and it still hasnt set foot on the road again yet! ive got myself a mk2 golf in the meantime.

Have you tried setting them up with Evo adaptors, set for narrow frame (switch the adaptor left for right, moves things around). if your careful you can get the slaves a fair way back in the mounts too.

Is it illegal to record off the radio? Its certainly not illegal to record TV: VCR, DVD-r, Tivo, SkyPlus

tf quotes in general would be better

If its not too expensive at your local bike shop, get your mounts faced. it makes them exactly parralel with each other and the drop out, meaning the caliper should sit dead straight over the disk, not slightly off, which can cause a noisy brake. I actually bought the hope facing tool, as i have 4 frames (and a fair few forks) with disk mounts, so was more cost effective to buy the tool (even at £70). ive found it to be very benificial.

that is quite simply, awesome. OWNED!

Also, car body filler when used in large chunks on big dents, is likely to crack and/or chip off again if it gets hit. does look good though!
-
Most people did before someone thought about attackign there wheel with an angle grinder. when clean and dry the brake will be sweet, powerful and possibly have a bit of modualtion depending on pads. as soon as it gets dirty/wet performance will be compromised, so be prepared to keep it clean.

Something like a big field, with a fairly good and preferably barn (ie not derilict, but with hard floor and electrics). Get a load of old sofas, big PA system, maybe some pallets and stuff in the corner for early in the evening. also if its out of the way (most fileds + barns are) there are no neighbours to annoy, and cleaning up will be easier. anyone friendly with a local farmer, or live on a farm? Sound like it would be a mint night though.

Wooo! at alst a pic of me riding! not many of them about thats for sure

My ex used to get rather exited from gentle blowing in the ear, and nibbling on the ear lobe.
